I couldn’t give a lower review for this establishment. July 16th, my family & I ate here. After spending $60 on food & waiting at the pull up spot past the drive through for 15 minutes- I received RE-HEATED unseasoned fries. I made a U-turn to go back, as I just spent over 20 minutes in line, 15 minutes in the pickup area & $60 on food. I return & let them know that my fries are reheated & unseasoned. My chicken was fine & please just give my son & I new fries so we can go about our way. Unfortunately, the manager argued with me till she was blue in the face about the fries not being reheated… As a former employee of this exact establishment (I was 16 when I worked here, I’m 31 now) I knew the manager was lying. I know what reheated fries from Zaxbys looks like. You cook a lot of batches of fries at once , then just redrop them when they’re ordered to heat. I’ve watched it be done at the exact location. I told the manager, I’d either like a refund and to return their cold reheated unseasoned fries or a new batch for my son & I. She finally said she’d get me a new order and walked away… we waited an additional 10-15 minutes for the new fries. The manager was pissed she had to make it right & didn’t hide the fact she was upset. She even let me know again that those were not reheated fries, it’s the “new” fries they’ve been getting from shipment… if that were true- my new fries would’ve looked the same way. My family chose to eat here yesterday. We had another case of BAD unseasoned fries & for some reason they decided to combine both kids meals into one bag without goldfish cookies. We didn’t know about the fries until we got home - this time. My kids and I frequent Zaxbys often, we prefer any other location than this one - now. We know how the kids meals come out. So we were shocked to see the meals we paid for, were not completed. When we asked an employee, she got mad and said that there is 2 kids meals in there & they’re just in the same bag. I asked about the goldfish crackers (again, my kids frequent here & know what comes in the meal) she then tossed everything in separate bags with goldfish crackers and gave them to us. We had to ask for our receipt back; as she was annoyed to deal with us. Read moreI am extremely disappointed in the service I received at this location. I placed an order on the mobile app and arrived at the specified time to pick it up. There were two people in the front but both were only attending to the drive through window. They were completely ignoring me and another customer who was also there to pick up a mobile order. I saw my food sitting there on the back counter but the staff wouldn’t hand it to me. I attempted to get their attention but was told to hold on. I waited for over 15 minutes (after my scheduled pick up time) while the employees only took care of the the drive through window and completely ignored us waiting on mobile orders. Finally, another staff member came from the back and told the two front employees that they should have helped me and the other customer, and proceeded to give me my food. And sure enough, it was the food had been sitting on the back counter the whole 15 minutes I was there waiting to be helped. Literally all the front employees had to do was hand me my food as it was sitting there the whole time I was ignored. By the time I got my food it was cold. Big surprise there. I understand that a lot of places are working with limited staff, but it would have taken all of 15 seconds to hand me my food that had been sitting there for...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped in the longer I stayed the worse the experience became. I immediately had a sense that this Zaxby’s was sub par from the dim lighting to the tables and chairs randomly thrown about the room. I don’t know why, the area seemed nice, but the place felt like a ghetto. Just, run down, poorly managed, like the staff didn’t care a rip about keeping up appearances. I was shocked by the 100% health score. Praying it meant the kitchen was well maintained because the dining area was sticky. So sticky. From the floors to tables and chairs, we had to wipe down our own area and never once did I see any staff come out from behind the counter to clean. It was filthy.
The food was ok. I had a cobb salad and some of the lettuce was wilty. I got ONE piece of microwaved bacon on my salad and the boiled egg was a luke warm temp. inedible. The rest of the salad was ok. I’ve tasted fresher from Zaxby’s. Everyone’s chicken was great. The fries were ok. None of the special Zaxby’s seasoning. My five year old noted in disappointment.
Then I went to the bathroom. Too late I realized there was not a shred of toilet paper in the entire bathroom. I should’ve expected it when I saw how poorly kept up the dining room was.
