I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. I used to go to this location multiple times a week but after the latest experience I will never go back and I urge others to also avoid this location.
A few days ago my husband went in to purchase five gift cards for our son's teachers. Two of the gift cards were $25 each. When he got home and I was matching up the activation receipts with the gift card numbers I noticed one of the $25 gift card receipts showed a gift card number one digit off the from the gift card we had and it did not match any of the cards they provided us. Concerned I'd be gifting a $0 gift card I went online to check the balance and confirmed it was not activated. All the other gift cards matched up, with the exception of this one. I had my husband go back to the store and let them know the gift card wasn't activated. He had both the individual activation receipts, as well as the larger receipt that showed all 5 gift cards, each both displayed card numbers and he brought all 5 gift cards back so they could reconcile it on their end.
Rather than correcting their error the store manager ACCUSED my husband of pocketing the $25 gift card and bringing in a blank gift card in an attempt to have it activated and essentially steal from them. He even told her, if she thinks that is the case then go ahead and deactivate the gift card number shown on the receipt and reissue a new card to him. Still, she accused him of fraud and refused to activate the gift card THAT WE PAID FOR. We instead had to go buy another gift card elsewhere because of THEIR ERROR and are out $25. It's bad enough they made the mistake to begin with but we wouldn't have an issue if they would have made good on our purchase, but the fact the manager then accused us of fraud is beyond reproach. We will never visit this location ever again and have escalated the issue...
Read moreApril at the Dunkin Donuts PC 350031 at 1-5 Elm St, Millbury MA 01527 delivered horrible customer service to myself and my friend. I had purchased 2 orders of hash browns and a medium latte with my friend. Previous to me, my friend ordered one hashbrown. April asked if that was all with food- in a rush. My friend responded with “that’s all for me, but she is getting some as well.” April rushed with the hashbrowns and dismissed us. I told her that I was ordering and she rolled her eyes. I ordered my latte and then she asked her coworker via headset to add two orders of hash browns. April proceeded to then say that she knows how annoying it is because she asked before if that’s all the food so she could do it all together but apparently I wasn’t listening. Her tone was snotty and just plain rude. I had apologized to her regarding throwing them off, but April had talked over me, didn’t give me a receipt and sarcastically told me to have a good night. I was very uncomfortable and taken aback because I have never encountered any poor customer service at this location- just inconsistent drinks. I confronted April and she continued to talk over me and didn’t listen to my concerns. I walked away after giving up and April and her coworker burst out laughing while I was still in the store. Read moreI've been going to Dunkin' for as long as I can remember. This store is not horrible, but not great either.
Call ahead orders are rarely done in time. Took nearly 20 minutes to make a sandwich yesterday for my wife because sometimes they seem to forget about certain orders.. Getting the wrong order entered at times (i.e. getting iced and paying for it rather than the cheaper hot coffee that was originally ordered). I think that the plexi glass and masks are adding to this as it is tough to communicate. Sometimes having to wait several minutes for someone to take your order when its your turn.
On the other hand, staff is very friendly and do eventually get it done right. I honestly feel bad for the workers. There are a lot of them and they look busy. There needs to be some sort of order to the system. Seems that drive thru gets priority (I should add never an issue with drive thru).
The place is clean. Coffee is good. Donuts and food are always fresh.
