We saw this new place while we were at Sprouts and decided to give it a go after checking out the reviews of this one and their other restaurant in Day Break.
I'm certainly not a sushi expert but I know good sushi/Japanese food and this wasn't it.
We went during lunch and I ordered a bento box with chicken teriyaki. The sushi roll was good, gyoza was good, rice ok but the chicken was way over cooked (boiled maybe) and tasted like cardboard and the teriyaki sauce just didn't have any flavor. I am not exaggerating, NO FLAVOR. I tried my cardboard chicken with the most amount of teriyaki sauce on it and nothing. It was weird. Then the salad...I really love wafu dressing and it tasted like I put a tablespoon mayonnaise in my mouth.
My husband had the sushi bento box and liked his sushi, felt the same about the salad dressing. He wasn't convinced when I shared the lack of flavor of the teriyaki sauce and over cooked chicken so tasted it for himself and was interestingly puzzled that the sauce had absolutely NO flavor.
We really wanted to like this place but likely will not give it...

The restaurant was very clean as well and had a nice and inviting decor. We ordered agedashi tofu, mussel shooters, seaweed salad, and a couple of rolls. Everything was priced reasonably as well!
I don’t know what was in the eel sauce for the caterpillar, but it was addicting! The fish was fresh and the rolls came out fairly quickly. There was a lot of variety on the menu and I can’t wait to go back...

Our food was served at a timely manner I would say not too late and not too early. I myself had the “full moon” & “evil eyes” they were both very delightful but my favorite was the evil eyes! I also had some yellowtail sashimi and that was very pleasant.
For drinks they offer a small selection of fountain drinks but that’s okay. For desert I had the chocolate lava cake and that was very good! Parking is very ample here and seating is easy almost no wait time to be seated. If you are in the area definitely give...
