El Toro Taco — Restaurant in Millington

Rude service. Young and middle-aged servers were rude as rude gets. Threw my husband's order on the counter and cocked an attitude when he asked for his cups, so he could get our drinks, Went to have lunch with my husband on his lunch break & they weren't really busy or anything they were just really slow, rude & made us not wanna go back. The food wasn't that great it was kinda bland actually. My husband had ordered BBQ nachos with jalapenos & it was ok I guess he didn't eat maybe half of it. If that. I've definitely had better from my local BBQ joints in Covington but the fried rice and refried beans were so bland. Adding salt and pepper didnt help much either Hopefully, they can add some flavor to them next time and hold all the grease next time. I think i had more grease then beans. Our drinks we got ourselves but saddley the sweet tea was spoiled and anything but sweet. Sorry not sorry I know it sounds a bit harsh but every word is true in my opinion. My husband was already having a hard day and we went to lunch hoping a nice meal would increase our morale but instead we left and he was more disappointed and upset when we left. it was the opposite of what we were trying...

I've eaten here in the past both dining and drive thru. However, last night everything was not what was the normal. I ordered two large taco supremes, ordered chips and cheese dip and my mom got a chicken taco salad. When I received my cheese dip it did not come with the soft chips I had received in the passed. It had a stack of roumd hard shells. I went and asked them about the chips they actee frustrated with me. And, finallt agreef to lettimg me purchase the chips I wanted. The tables were filty. My soft taco was a mess. The wrapper was covered with foos. My mom's taco salad was good. However, when we went to leave the entrance door was locked. My mom who is hanicao and has dementia asked them if she could get out. They tried to get her to exit on the other side of the building at the drive thru. Our car was completely on the other side where we parked right uo to the buildimhm. After much negative attitudes m someine finally opened the door. I was extremely frustrated...

I've been eating here for years. Today was not so good. The whole time I was trying 2 order i had to listen to the owner complain about the cost of having people charge / debit card fees. What I ordered wasn't what I got. I asked 4 no 🍅 on my big oh 🥗. There was 🍅 on my salad 🥗. My salad was not as plentiful as normal. ordered a large water. He charged me for small and gave me a small cup. I ordered the big taco. I got the small reg. One. That had little 2 nothing on it. The cost was 1.79 b4 taxes. $1.94 after taxes. I asked for a refund on the taco. And gave it back to them. The guy didn't know what to do so he called for the guy that rang me up. He told him to give me a refund of $1.79. I asked about the after taxes cost. The owner said it was $1.94. And for him to give me that amount. But the bearded guy chose to short change me. And sent me away with $1.79. As I walked away I checked my change. And had to go back again....
