I really enjoy eating here. To start, it looks rough from the outside. Don't let the look fool you. Inside, it's a little dated with established with low budget decor. But the food... oh the food.. makes the blemishes disappear. The chips and salsa are excellent. The queso Blanco is delicious. I personally prefer to mix the salsa with the cheese dip and enjoy. I haven't bounced around the menu too too much, I have just had the chicken fajitas, and let me tell you. Excellent. Safe to say the best chicken fajitas I have ever had. The beans that are served with the fajitas are super fresh. All of the produce is fresh. The way that the chicken is spiced is also great. Everyone else who I ever have been with has not ever had anything bad to say about anything else they have had. It's a fairly family oriented place, with much of that being thanks to the generally domesticated middle class crowd that eats here a majority of the time I have been there. Never have used the bathrooms. Oh and lastly, the service is great. Never have had an empty glass here and never have had to wait long for food, and it's always...
Read moreSmall dining area. If you've never been to this restaurant the entrance is a little confusing. There is a wall that separates the dining area from the kitchen and the other kitchen area, I guess, and when you walk in you're not quite sure where to go. They should rope it off or somehow make it clear that you need to turn into the dining room and not go straight into their work area. Anyway, we ordered steak Mexicano and they were very good. The salsa we first got was overcharged with oregano but we powered thru it then when they refilled the salsa bowls it was better so it mustve been an off batch. The margarita was good and service could've been a little more attentive but overall we had a good meal. We went several times to eat and ordered different things and they were good. Service was inconsistent, we got a really overwhelmed, forgetful waitress the second time and a good waiter...
Read moreA coworker highly recommended this restaurant for their great food so I decided to check out the restaurant on my day off. But my first impression was a turnoff.
The entrance to the restaurant was confusing, there were several doors but only one entrance. The inside (windows, walls, kitchen, counters, floors etc.,) was dusty and filthy. The diningroom was small and cramped with limited seating. The decor was old and dated.
When time to pay, the waiter gave me the wrong ticket with someone else's credit card twice which resulted in me going to the front counter, waiting 10 minutes to pay for my order.
There's no doubt that this restaurant serves great food but the outer and inside appearance of the entire restaurant needs a deep cleaning. The hard work that's put into serving great food should have the same energy and hard work toward the appearance of...
