I signed up online for $0 down 21.99 month gym membership and few days later I went to cancel because I didn't have need of the ammenities and needed something kid friendly and requested to cancel. Before I was able to do that I feel like I was was tricked into signing documents (signatures fraudulently obtained) under false pretenses that if I didn't sign, I wouldn't have been able to cancel my membership. This was required because it was an online inquiry. Long story short she didn't cancel it and the documents signed were the ones that screwed me over. I was charged 8 times between 9/13-11-7-2018. Only two payments of $24.09 and one for $42.61 went through. Ive never been in the gym or used it and have had no activity or correspondence from the business so I thought, since she said she cancelled it, that it was all good. No. I went to the store and they were in no way helpful. He actually had the audacity to ask me to pay AGAIN to cancel the membership i already cancelled. He refused to refund the money, lied and said I had never been charged the monthly fee, still did not cancel the membership, and acknowledged that he has had problems with staff before not doing the job correctly but I didn't have proof.. Proof is the bank statement.. The activity log showing me never being there, the fact that you're aware of the problem, and the icing on the cake the manager Dwight refused to give me his managers contact information and said he would pass mine along. Still no response. I'm a great person, a philanthropist and leader in my community, and I feel like I'm the victim of a scam. $74.70 plus fees for the multiple times they attempted to charge my card with insufficient funds. I'm now wothout my phone.. Have a late fee for my furniture bill because I had no way to contact them to call in my payment.. Have received not one call, letter, email or any correspondence from the management in the store, have been told to come in for 3 meetings on 3 separate occasions with no resolution so I ran out of gas.. I'm a newly divorced mother of 3 on no government assistance with multiple PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS/ REFRENCES that would attest to the fact that I pay my bills on time and in full. I can't believe the lack of communication, compassion, and common courtesy shown towards me. I would understand had I used it once but never. I would understand if the employee was new and learning but you're aware of the mistakes and acknowledge they happen but did NOTHING to fix it. I'd understand if you just communicated effectively and kept me in the loop, but you've avoided, ignored, and 100% dropped the ball on multiple occasions. I don't even know that the signature is mine, because the only documents they gave me was a yellow carbon copy of the cancellation that was handwritten, which is easier to misplace, but I think they're(staff) are entirely too immature, incompetent, and inexperienced. The only positive thing out of the situation is by not refunding my $42.61 i requested I was able to research and found two more charges bot for $24.09 each. If they refund me all my fees and cancel the membership I'd be content and happy. If it comes down to fighting with them.. Ive retained a lawyer and i'm prepared to file suit. I'm told with the evidence presented that I have they will not only pay my fees but pain and suffering from the trickle down effect this has caused me. I'm prepared to go to the media and let them know about the practices of the company. On BBB they're are many others with the same case. I'm barely getting by without government assistance as a newly single mom with one income, but the way tbey treated me, with all my evidence I gathered, and see the oversight is on the staff/ or management and deny my refund for $46.21 is heartless. I left that day with no money to my name, phone disconnected, and minimum of $50 in late fees is a heartbreaking and defeating feeling. You're a terrible person and an awful reflection of the PF brand and...
Read moreI wish, for the money that it costs every month, that the staff would actually do the job they have been hired for, and do as it states in writing on the walls, and closely monitor people in the 30 minute workout area to make sure they are not freelancing on the machines and are actually doing the 30 minute workout! Also, staff should watch those that want to sit on machines while on their cell phones for long periods of time and stop them clogging them up while others want to use them. Finally, it sure would be nice if people were held accountable for wiping down the machine they use after each use. Far too many people wandering into the 30 minute workout area to use a machine or two, people sitting on machines using their cell phones for extended periods of time without actually using the machine and people jumping from machine to machine with never having wiped any of them down. But I understand that staff is extremely busy doing other things like conversing with their friends or boyfriends sitting at the tables up front. I understand that working at planet fitness has to be an extremely hard, tiring and stressful job, so I hope that I am not asking too much of the tirelessly...
Read moreI’ve been going here for probably over a year and I love it. The atmosphere is accommodating to your needs. You have several upon several televisions going with different shows for those who don’t use headphones or forget them (which I do often). The music is diverse. The employees are super friendly and do what they can to make sure you’re satisfied. The new manager is so friendly and helpful. She makes sure you’re always taken care of. The place is clean and you always have the option to sanitize the machine you’re choosing to use. I love the drink options if you run out or forget yours. The bathrooms are clean. You can tan and get little massages with your black card membership. And those are nice after a tough workout. I can’t say enough. I’m happy with...
