Fox's Pizza Den — Restaurant in Millvale

I stopped in yesterday to get an Italian hoagie on my lunch break. One of the franchise owners asked me to leave a review as I was a new customer. So here goes... I found the service to be quick and friendly and the the location was very clean.The Italian hoagie itself was above average. I asked for dressing on the side and so I got some Ken's Italian dressing packets which is convenient. Although I wonder if they have their own homemade dressing which they use for less picky people?.. Lol. That would be nice. Probably the best thing about Fox's is their price-point. $10 for a footlong baked Italian hoagie is very fair, especially given the state of affairs with inflation and the pandemic rising prices for everything...and their pizza combo meal-deals (pizza wings, pizza hoagie) are spectacularly priced. You can feed a whole family for around $20. Thats awesome. I...

I ordered a medium half salami, there was almost no salami on each slice. Probably the worst salami pizza Ive ever had. I want to like Fox's. Ive been here many times, but it is so inconsistent and usually leaning on the side of bad, I don't know if I can continue to go here anymore.

I could make a list of all the times Millvale's Foxs has failed me over the years from chicken salads with no fries to steak salads with no steak. Never had them before so I figured I would try them out. Always heard about how good the pizza was. I ordered a pickle 🥒 pizza 🍕 and it was good. Came fresh . Loved the ranch they had with it. I was really disappointed in the garlic 🧄 parm fries 🍟 tho. They had a weird oil on them and it turned my stomach with the taste. Garlic 🧄 and 🧀 are like some of my favorites so I was def disappointed. The steak 🥩 hoagie was really fresh and tasty tho . Delivery came in a reasonable time and food was still warm which as u no sometimes it isn't . I do want to try something else...
