Chow's Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Millville

I normally give good reviews. In this case, my appetite was satisfied and I found enough selections where I was not disgusted with the food. I believe the restaurant is in tough Financial Straits. It is obvious they found the cheap route to go in many of their preparations. There were not many of the small you peel shrimp left in the serving container. The steamed dumplings were dry to the point where the ends were hard. The stuffed mushrooms seemed to be stuffed with some sort of a sweetish mashed potato mixture. There was no raw fish in the small sushi selection which is probably a good thing. They capped off the chocolate soft serve and only offered vanilla beside the lackluster selection of other dessert. I don't remember seeing a fresh salad (meaning lettuce etc.) bar selection. The restaurant did not appear dirty in any way that I observed. Overall, not horrible but definitely...

Chicken fried rice, the chicken was pale like it was steamed. Hardly any chicken in the chicken fried rice. The curry chicken combination platter with fried pork rice. The pork rice wasn't bad .The curry chicken was all vegetables not hardly any chicken. The boneless ribs were good and the chicken teriyaki wasn't good either. I don't know what happened they used to have really good food there. I won't be going back there again. I only got a little bit out and I couldn't even finish eating it. The kids didn't like anything but the boneless ribs and they ate a little bit of their combination platter which was the boneless rib with lo mein hardly any chicken in the lo mein. I have no problems with weed, but um up I get out the car, and that's all you smell is weed, you're in front of different establishments. You shouldn't be smoking in front of these stores period you have people that come in with their kids. And everything else, but not my call. Just saying... And their food is acceptable, but to me, it's they overcook their chicken to try to make it extra crispy but the meat, it's more dry and I don't like that, and I ordered the fried dumplings and the dumplings just don't even taste right.
