My husband and I have driven by this place numerous, numerous times and never knew that it was a pizza place. But this afternoon we were in town for another reason and decided to stop and have lunch here finally. It was such an amazing blast from the past with all the awesome oldie but goodies. I was so impressed by the reminence of the good ole days. My husband and I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, and it was slap your mama delicious. My husband doesn't like to eat spinach nor artichoke anything and he thoroughly enjoyed it 😊😊. We also ordered the Supreme Pizza with extra meatballs and it also was incredibly delicious 🤤🤤. The brick oven cooking of this pizza makes it amazing, plus the ingredients were fresh and crisp and the sauce was fresh you can actually taste the robust natural fresh tomatoes in it. We totally enjoyed our lunch. Our waitress was very personal and professional. She was great. But the ambience was nostalgic and inviting. I loved everything that they had displayed on the walls and they had old school games and toys in the gift shop portion of the place. My husband and I were stuffed from our amazingly delicious lunch, but we had to stop at the homemade fudge counter and we had to purchase 1lb of fudge. The lady behind the counter was so awesome and we had a great conversation, which is definently lacking everywhere you go these days, she made our experience spectacular. I hope she didn't forget the Oatmeal Pie Apple Pie recipe I told her about. 😊😊. Needless to say my husband and I will be back Everytime we're in town. We had a magnificent deliciously amazing time, definently the best pizza in Santa Rosa County. Better then Sal's and New York Depot's pizza and definently La Casa Bianca's and my husband and I have had there's several times, stop wasting your money at these ho hum pizza joints and down it here at Boomerang's. We've decided Boomerang's is now and always our go to pizza place from now on. Thank you Boomerang's for the must delightful, delicious, amazing, good ole day pizza experience. We wish you were closer to us. We'll definently 100% be...
Read moreWe come to Boomerang regularly. We went last Friday and after I paid I forgot to grab my credit card from the bill folder. We had some minor issues with the food, pizza was burnt on one side and not very cooked on other side. The garlic knots were the same, so under cooked there was raw doe in some on half the order. Oven may be hotter on one side or too full of food since place was really busy. Rachael our server was pleasant as always and did apologize when she brought pizza and asked if we wanted a new one. She is very polite as always. The following morning we went to bring kids to baseball practice and I realized I forgot my debit card. It was 1030 and they open at 11, but we had to get kids to practice so we stopped to see if we could get my card. The door was locked as it was only 1030, but the girl inside heard the knock and looked at me, then went about putting fudge into display. I knocked again and again she looked, but ignored me and then started wiping down counter. I stood at the door for 30 minutes while she moved around just inside and she ignored me the entire time. Now this is a place we frequent and we loved it because of its home town feel. Choosing to ignore me and not even come to door to ask what she could help with just was complete rudeness. At least ask me what's wrong and even if she had said sir, I can't open the door until 11 I would of understood. Still been late to kids practice, but it was my fault for leaving my card. The overall fact she looked at me, knew I needed something and straight up ignored my existence has made me decide to never give this place our business again. It used to be a place to treat kids after practices and a Friday night pizza place for us and family. Being rudely ignored I can not forgive to a place we have spent many meals at. We will take our...
Read moreThis was hands down the worst pizza I've had in my 50 years of existence. I believe it was 7-24-2020 that my friend suggested the Boomerang while we were returning from a diving trip. My daughter ordered online a 16 supreme pizza, a 7 inch made to order, and bread knots. Having been accustom to eating pizza such as Hunt Brothers Pizza from a gas station, pizza that has toppings falling off of every slice, I never thought twice about checking inside the Boomerang Pizza box. Luckily my daughter noticed that they had not given us our order of bread knots so at least we walked out of the place with our complete order at $40 plus. Back at my friends house in Milton we opened the supreme box to gaze upon a 16 inch peperoni and cheese pizza that had a couple of mushrooms, and a few very finely diced bell peppers. To get that few toppings on a pizza would require throwing the toppings at some distance to see what happened to land on the pizza. No joke, each piece had maybe one piece of a mushroom and no more than three tiny pieces of bell pepper per slice from a large 16 inch pizza. Not surprising, the pizza tasted exactly like a peperoni and cheese pizza, our least favorite. Never in my life have I thrown a piece of pizza in the trash until July 24th 2020. What we didn't eat went straight to the landfill. Had it not been for the Ice-cream shop down a couple of doors that my friend also recommended, my daughters would have forbidden my friend from ever suggesting another place to eat. In all fairness, my youngest daughter did enjoy her made to order pizza and the bread knots were also good. In summary, I highly recommend Scoops Ice Cream and Sweets in Milton, FL and Hunt Brothers Pizza from any local gas station while dining...
