Mazzys Sports Tavern (Milton) — Restaurant in Milton

Had no idea what to expect when I went here. Didn't read anything about it, and was going because I was meeting a friend out who suggested it. Figured, "Sports tavern.. Bar, probably a TV or two, maybe a pool table in the corner.. Not much else" - Expectations exceeded. Far exceeded. Crazily. Put the expectations in a box, load it on a rocket, launch the rocket into orbit, type of expectations.

The bar.. Well at least the first bar... Great service. I'm a bourbon drinker, and I definitely was not expecting the selection that they had. Prices were actually fair as well! Some really good pours that don't break the bank. This alone would normally keep me coming back to a place. We also ate at the bar. The menu is pretty extensive. A little of everything, whatever you are in the mood for. I won't go into it, you can look it up yourself, but I had the hefty portion of wings (Garlic Parm), my buddy had some kind of salmon thing. Could have been a salad, could have been an entree, I don't know, I was too busy destroying some wings to look up and pay much attention. Generous seasoning on them, and the wings were very tender. I've seen a few other reviews talk about the wings having freezer burn or something, but that definitely was not the case. And for a keto guy, the wings are a go-to for a new place. When I have a cheat day though, I'm coming back, because the rest of the menu looks bomb. TV's galore. Think about how many TV's you would like at a sports bar, now add 2 to that, and probably double it. You probably still haven't hit the number of TV's they have here. If this place has college football games going, and has the ability to play a separate game on each TV, I may ask the owner if I can rent a seat for the season and just spend Saturdays here. I may also ask if I can sleep there as well, because my wife will probably kick me out. But enough about me..

The second bar. Remember that pool table in the corner? There's a completely different area of the place, it's own room, with another bar, about 8 pool tables at least, a few video games, and hey.. More TV's!

Wait, back to the first room. They have dart boards, like 4 or 5 of them. In there own little area so you don't get in peoples way. And there's plenty of seating, forgot to mention that. It's a really big place. I know size doesn't matter, but it kind of does here.

Okay, back to the second bar, and the pool tables and stuff.. I think that's about it for this area, BUT this area leads to the doors outside.

Outside - Hey! Another bar! Well, sort of. The bar in the billiards room actually has an open wall to the outside, and you can sit on a back patio, at the bar, or a table, and have drinks out there. Kinda had a whole tiki bar vibe going for me. Then there's this huge lawn area. Not sure if they take advantage of it for anything (it was dark, couldn't tell), but I can imagine cornhole or something going on out there. Disclaimer: If you go there expecting cornhole, and did not bring your own cornhole set, and are disappointed that they in fact do not have cornhole, do not blame me. I clearly said I can IMAGINE cornhole being played out there. I mean, it would be a missed opportunity, but it's not my freaking bar, so don't get mad at me. There IS however a firepit all the way in the back of the property. At least I think it was a fire pit. I saw a lot of people, and a fire. So going to assume it was. Unless there were just a bunch of Warrior fans out there all burning their Curry jerseys because of the result of the game. Who knows. I'm going with fire pit though.

So all in all. The place has a little of everything. Wanna just drink and eat. They got it. Watch some sports. They got you. Play some games. Check. Just chill outside and even hang around the firepit and make some new friends. You can do that too. The crowd was real chill as well. Will definitely be back. This will probably be my new default...

I ordered a pretzel from Mazzys Tavern in Milton, and unfortunately, the delivery was delayed by an hour. When the driver finally dropped off the order, I was shocked to find the pretzel had been tampered with. It was evident that the pretzel had been contaminated with foreign substances, which was highly concerning. The pictures show clearly it was spat on multiple times and I have to be honest to say I’m not a fan of pubic hair as my snacks garnish.

The delayed delivery time compounded with the discovery of possible contamination on the pretzel left me deeply disappointed. As a customer, it is crucial to trust that food establishments and delivery services maintain strict hygiene standards to ensure the safety of their products.

I strongly urge Mazzys Tavern to thoroughly review their food handling procedures to prevent any instances of tampering or contamination in the future. Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality is essential in the food industry to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.

Despite my negative experience with this order, I believe that providing feedback can help improve service quality. I sincerely hope that Mazzys Tavern takes immediate action to address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Possibly by rooting out some “Bad” staff or starting to put safety tape on their deliveries to prevent “Bad” drivers. I will not be ordering from this place or returning. Which is a shame cause I’ve ordered from...
