I’ve been a regular at this Starbucks for years as it’s my local. but my experience today was unacceptable. A staff member named Jeremy who I’ve never encountered before was shockingly rude and aggressive from the moment we pulled up at the drive thru.
I asked a simple question about whether almond milk had been added to my iced matcha latte as my drink appeared to resemble green water. Instead of answering, he took my drink to remake it without answering my question. I politely declined the remake — because his demeanor was so visibly irritated, I no longer felt comfortable consuming something he prepared. That’s when things escalated he became aggressive & combative. questioning why I didn’t want the remake, waving his hands in frustration, and speaking to me in a condescending tone.
Things escalated so badly that my stepdad had to step in and say “it too early for this, my daughter just wants a refund” Jeremy then told him to “relax,” Jeremy refused to de-escalate, kept scolding us as if we was children. it was highly offensive. even as another (more professional) staff member had to take over & process the refund on behalf of Jeremy, Jeremy continued arguing his points out loud in front of customers. He’s female co worker had to usher him from the drive thru window and tell him to relax.
I truly hope I never have to deal with him again. I understand everyone has bad days, but this went far beyond that. If management is reading this please take this seriously. it was hostile and humiliating, and completely out of line. Your regulars...
Read moreBeware, this is the worst location in the area for good baristas and service. The last several months, regardless of what the drink is, it is made wrong. They repeat the order back to you a few times and still get the size wrong or the actual mix ratios wrong. There is clearly lack of experienced oversight and management with new employees. TASTE YOUR DRINK before you pull away. Check it good! I asked for a black tea lemonade sweetened and the response I received was “sweetened with what?”. What we actually got was mainly all black tea and a splash of lemonade, not sweetened. It was a waste of $5 because we tasted it after we pulled out of line and didn’t want to wait 40 minutes to get it corrected. The cafe was closed for a repair and we couldn’t go in. So another location made it right for us and told us they are getting so many customers from the Bethany Bend location due to these types of issues. I understand staffing problems and hour changes during this time, but where is the management ensuring drinks know how to be made? At what point does management take responsibility and work more hours to get this right? This used to be a nice treat and it’s disappointing. I’m...
Read moreI used to come here on a daily basis about a year ago and loved everyone, great service friendly staff always made my mornings easier. Things have DRAMATICALLY changed. Yes they do their job yes they will give you your $5 coffee but the service is TERRIBLE. Specifically Justin. Rude, angry and acts annoyed by everyone's presence. It is honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any situation. He acts like you're an idiot for asking questions saying good morning he will just roll his eyes. This location has dramatically gone down hill with service and quality since the absence of certain wonderful employees. Very disheartening. I now drive out of my way to go to a different Starbucks because I don't feel like being put down at 8 am just for ordering coffee. I have been wanting to say something for quite some time and after the experience with him today that really was the final straw. Best thing that could happen to this location is to do some retraining of their employees on customer...
