I would give this place a NEGATIVE -5 STARS if I could. I see a bunch of negative reviews about this papa johns location but I'm honestly shocked that nobody has mentioned the atmosphere. I am not kidding when I say it was like something out of a creepy horror movie. I had never been to this location and I placed my.order online to pick up. When I arrived, the "restaurant" was barely lit with just a few dim, yellowish lights inside with only one employee in view. Despite this, my husband went in to get our pizza. Sitting in the truck and watching the interaction between my husband and the employee was nothing short of cringey. I was literally getting sick to my stomach as I watched the employee smirking at the pizzas with a creepy, weird, almost sick look on his face as if there was something about them that only he knew that he thought was funny and satisfying, you know, like one of those weirdos who might do something sick to a customers food and get enjoyment from it knowing someone is eating it. I don't know how to explain the whole experience but the vibes I was getting were really really bad and just WEIRD!!! As soon as my husband got back in the truck I told him I was having a bad feeling inside about this place and he literally said "omg me too, something about it is like something from a horror movie." Which were my exact thoughts. Driving home I just couldn't let it go and I told my husband my gut was telling me something was very very weird. He agreed and despite us almost being back to our house, we decided to turn around and bring the pizzas back. When we arrived to return them, there were more employees inside and one of them had long hair almost down to his butt that was secured with nothing but a simple hair tie, no net, no protection to cover the hair, nothing. None of them were wearing gloves either. Once again, I got the same uneasy, sick feeling being back that. The employee who talked to my husband was nice and gave us a refund for the pizzas, but I just couldn't wait to get as far away from this place as possible. The uneasy feeling stuck with me almost all night and I still get the heebie jeebies just thinking about it. I'm not sure who runs this location but whoever it is should really consider just shutting the whole place down and starting fresh with different employees some where else, and also take into consideration that atmosphere is EVERYTHING when going to a restaurant so having a pizza joint that looks like it would be a creepy shed from the Texas chainsaw massacre movie, is a huge turn off. I can't believe this place is still open, it makes me want to literally vomit. Also, having a sign up that is telling the employees not to leave delivery pizzas on the ground freaked us out too. Who delivers pizza and leaves it on the ground outside of someone's door? And the employee with the smirk, just NO. Creepy creepy creepy. Horrible, uneasy, sickening vibe from this place. Please do not eat here, something is really really...
Read moreI DoorDash part-time for supplemental income. I came in for an order tonight and was about to get my order when the short handicapped girl came running around the corner screaming I can’t pick up an order. The reason-“because the general manager said I unassigned an order couple days ago and didn’t take it”. Yes In fact I did. I came in for two orders and neither was ready, again the handicap girl was there and told me it would be ready in two minutes . 10 mins later it still wasn’t ready. So I simply unassigned and left . We get paid by the order not the hour. I’m not required by anyone to take an order . I work for myself as an independent contractor. Well when I was told that tonight, naturally I have to call DoorDash and tell them why the order isn’t released to me. While on hold I asked for the girls name with the attitude “the manager” told me don’t worry about it. And when on to say I didn’t need his name either. When I finally got released from the order DOORDASH tells me they informed her im banned from the store . Absolutely 👍 👌 No problem. I also ban myself from ordering food from you guys for home and work. So during all this time the customers food sat on the rack for a good 30 minutes. The manager asked me to Unassign while I was on hold so he can get it to them. Ummmm no , not the way it works. Absolutely pitiful customer service from Matt the manager (yeah your coworkers told me outside your name) and the handicap chick has an issue with thinking she can tell everyone what to do , and not too mention The GM Karen Scott whom supposedly “Banned me” , haha. All because I didn’t wanna wait on a order that was already passed on by a papa Johns driver because there wasn’t a tip. Papa Johns can do better. I’m waiting on your call Mr. Rich Robert’s so we can...
Read moreOrdered online, the last two times it said 89-99 minutes wait. The first time we waited just about that time, I went in to get the order and I was told 5 more minutes, waited those 5 and went back in, was told to wait another 5 minutes, the third time I went in I was told 5 more. At this point if we wouldn’t have already paid online we would’ve left, it’s already been almost 2 hours for 2 orders of cheese sticks, bread sticks, and a papadia. The fourth time going in there’s a little girl in the kitchen putting toppings onto pizzas. I’m not up to date on child labor laws, or food service laws, but I’m not sure a 10 year old should be making pizzas. It was finally ready, but cold. Plenty of staff but not sure why so slow.
The second time, it said 89-99 minutes. So we went to tractor supply right next door and wasted some time, after already waiting a while at the house, and the app said it was ready while in tractor supply. We get there and they say a few more minutes. Again, plenty of staff behind the counter. It still somehow managed to take over an hour to make two orders of cheese sticks and one order of breadsticks.(luckily we didn’t order a papadia, it probably would’ve been another hour) Neither times was it extremely busy, just a couple other customers.
Shouldn’t take hours to make food unless it’s as big as a catering order. Sadly there isn’t another papa johns in the Milton...
