Waffle House — Restaurant in Milton

My experience tonight was a 3.5 out of 5. The food was not prepared correctly like the last few times I have eaten here. I visit here frequently and was hoping the service would improve but it has not, unfortunately. After waiting for my to-go order that I placed over the phone I knew from experience that I better check the order to make sure it was correct. It was not but the waiter graciously gave me the option to eat it or throw it away while I waited for another 15 for it to be prepared with scrambled instead of fried eggs. The food itself was great, but the inability to consecutively not pay attention to the details of a single item order ( sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich- scrambled not fried) left the experience unsatisfactory. Its only saving grace was the girl who they luckily decided to staff the place at 3:00 am to look after the place. She was super polite and apologized several times even though it was not her that took or prepares the order, and also made it a point to have a conversation with me while my order was being corrected. She alone is the saving grace of this review and in my opinion, should be put up for a raise and possibly trained in a manager position on her great customer skills alone. Kudos to you ma'am your smile and willingness to do what you could to make the customer's experience better than it could have been what will keep me coming back to this establishment. I frequent this waffle house often I live very close and Ive never had any complaints until today. I came in today with my 2 kids and husband for breakfast we are all of hispanic decent :) ! but the way I was treated today has made me never want to come back. the waitress was rude, I said good morning and she never answered I thought maybe she didnt hear me so I blew it off but then she was rushing us and constantly looking at our table has if saying "cmon finish already and leave" She never offered to fill up or cups again and when our food came out she basiclly let our plate fall on the table. Ive never felt so unwanted at an establishment like this ever! You could feel the tension the few times she came up to us it was horrible my 2 kids both under the age of 6 should'nt have to go through this ever! .......this treatment most definetly did not go unnoticed by me or my husband I just dont understand the mindset of somone treating others different purely based off apperances! Its mind boggling to say the least. We are in the future and the USA is just a melting pot of so many people of color and cultures why not treat others with respect and diginity and just try to get along. I truly believe this waitress had some underlying prejudice towards us and she needs to check that at the door before she walks in to work and Im very sorry waffle house but you have just...

I usually have a great experience, I used to work for the company. Miss Amy who served us from around 12:30-1 a.m. was a very unpleasant waitress. I ordered an all star and she tried arguing with me that if I ordered cheesesteak instead of bacon (or whatever) and also got onions in it and instead of white toast a piece of texas toast would mean i was going to order a whole sandwich? I know there is an up charge for cheesesteak. The way she came about it was rude. Then she didn’t check on us not one time, whenever she finally got our checks to us after sitting on her phone and talking about guns for nearly 20 mins she did not even ask if we needed anything. So yes we tipped her $1, she should be glad we tipped anything with that attitude. Let her know I said she shouldn’t be in customer service. But loved the food! And the cook stood up for me and said no there’s just an up charge. Don’t worry I’ll always come back to waffle house but she just isn’t very professional at all. Also the tables were almost all dirty when we came in, we sat at a dirty booth and wasn’t approached for about 45 seconds....
