Firehouse Subs Milton — Restaurant in Milton

I had the medium last week for $8.45...I ordered a large, same sandwich and it was $15.09 plus they charged me extra to change the cheese to mozzarella when cheese comes with it. Never mentioned it would be an extra charge. I don't eat provolone. Also they fail to ask if you want mayo or mustard.....if you don't say none then it automatically gets put into your sandwich. Not too hard to ask if you'd like those on your sandwich or tell you it's extra to change your cheese. So with tax I paid $17.50 for JUST a large sandwich. A little PRICEY since I could of had 2 of their M menu sandwiches for $3.00 more including tax. Second time we were uninformed of their makings of their sandwiches and the extra cost to change the cheese. Bought 3 of the same sandwich M at $8.45 each for $31.00 and now 1 (one) L for $17.50 ......big difference. At least this single sandwich was bombed in mayo. And again we weren't asked if we wanted mayo or mustard....

Had a craving for a sub so I stopped.

The bad, I ordered a medium Italian with no onion on white to eat in. I got a medium Italian with onions on white to go.

The good was I am a big boy and can take the onions off and even though I missed one, my day wasn't ruined. I am not sure if I have ever been to this one before so not sure of the procedure, the one I usually eat at will bring it to my table when I eat in but they gave it to me to go so I don't know. I took it as they didn't listen to a word I said. I will say that when you eat a Firehouse sub in right away, it is the best ever. Service was fast and friendly just missed the mark on accurate. NO REGRETS.... I ordered a sub on the app when I was about 5 miles away. By the time I arrived it was hot and ready, waiting on a contactless pickup shelf. The beef and cheddar brisket is so amazing! I realize some folks are concerned about contracting Covid, but let me tell you, I would take an order of covid with a beef and cheddar brisket every day of the week, no regrets. This locations food is more addicting than candy crush, to the point I'm full and say "just one more bite" until it's completely gone....leaving me full and satisfied. Staff was awesome as well and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. They followed Covid...
