First time here. Stopped in for a beverage and pastry. The place has an inviting exterior, leaving you no doubt that they are open for business and want you to step inside.
Inside is equally welcoming. The entrance is cheefully decorated, and the inside has nice visuals to make you feel appreciated and relaxed. There were several other people there, and it was quiet.
I typically get a London Fog, but they don't have black tea. They suggested a Banana Chai Latte (chai, with white chocolate and banana syrup. They offered a selection of mexican pastries (conchas, churros, and empanadas), and I decided on an Apple Empanada. I asked for it warmed up, but they explained that the warming oven hasn't been installed yet :(
The barista did a nice job with the chai. It came out in a colorful, mug, had nice foam, and excellent flavor. The empanada was a good size, and extremely good (even if it was cold).

We went to go try the cold brew flight that was shown in the post and it did not disappoint. [I hope my picture posts properly. If not, please take me at my word]
Our flight in particular was made with oatmilk at my girlfriend's request and all the drinks were rich and smooth. Our personal favorite was the coco loco, or something along those lines. It tasted exactly like a mounds or almond joy, second favorite was the chocolate hazelnut one, unfortunately i forget what it's called.
I also ordered a blackberry matcha latte and it was one of the better matcha drinks I've had, it wasn't over poweringly sweet and you could taste both of the flavors without them competing with eachother.
Suffice to say, being from chicago, I'm willing to make the drive...
