The first time I bought from this restaurant or September 10 I order it through Uber eats and it was fine I ordered my stuff and I got it the way I want it but yesterday October 9, 2020 I ordered through Uber Eats to be delivered and There is a space in the bottom to specify what you want so I did. I got my food when I was supposed to, the driver was good. But when I opened up my burrito it had rice in it which I cannot eat rice. So I called and they said to go and I go in and one of the ladies which I didn’t catch her name she was a taller one that was there said what’s your problem and I said that there’s rice in my burrito and I can’t eat rice, she’s like well did you put in the specifications that you didn’t want rice I said I did not know that you put rice in a burrito. I specified no beans no lettuce only tomatoes, onions, cheese, avocados, cream with steak that is all and light salt. She like well you need to specify about the rice because as long as I worked here they put rice in it and I said no there was no rice last time . She’s like well you must’ve been somewhere else. I was like no because I ordered it from uber eat but I came in personally to pick it up. I asked do I get something because I already paid my delivery and I had to still come over here she’s like that’s not my problem that’s your problem so she was rude and I asked her can I speak to someone else cause you got me upset she’s like I’m the only one that’s working here that could make decision, I said there’s other ladies here. She like I’m the only one that can make decisions. So if you want I’ll give you the 1- 800 number for Uber eats and you complain and you get your money back. My husband waiting outside I said just give me the burrito and she hands me the same burrito I gave her. I was so upset, I said go make me the burrito the way I want it you are rude and I will not be coming here again so I’m gonna step outside because you’ve got me with my blood pressure raised and I Stepped outside. There was a lot of people in the restaurant. I go in and she gave me the burrito and I told her I will never step in there again or I am not going to be recommending this place. All she had to do was say was sorry inconvenience you had to come over here. I don’t know her name very bad she’s the one that she said that she’s the only one that can make decisions and she was really rude that was my experience. She has to learn better customer...
Read moreFirst impression, it was a bit awkward walking in. The tables were set up a bit strange, but that wasn't my biggest concern. The waitress seemed very fast-paced, but was nice. She wasn't very accommodating, I had a young toddler and needed a high chair but she didn't really ask if I needed one. There were tables inside but more of a bar set up. The rice wasn't my favorite, it was moist but lacked a bit flavor. The beans weren't too bad either. I ordered a camaron quesadilla, they were medium sized, very tasty. One thing is that they put a lot of tomato in mine to make it seem more filled with shrimp. It wasn't bad at all, it was very filling with one quesadilla. Just in case you're not sure the difference between a la plancha tacos (grilled tacos) or empanadizados tacos (breaded tacos). Overall, the experience wasn't bad, service could've been a bit better but the food had potential.
Edit: I returned to give it a second chance. Apparently take-out is better than dine-in. The employees were nice. The tacos were delicious. The rice was a lot better this time. I will say the servings were pretty small for the rice and beans. The al pastor tacos had lots of meat. The horchata wasnt too sweet, I personally enjoyed it. The salsas weren't super spicy, which is good if that's what you prefer but can be a downside if you like it spicier. Overall experience, the food was enjoyable. My husband had quesadillas de bistec (steak quesadillas) and he really liked them. It was a combo, he loved them. He gave them 4/5, what would've made them better was a bit more cheese but had...
Read moreI don't know if it's friends of the restaurant leaving these reviews about how authentic and delicious it is, but that definitely is WAY opposite of what I had. I've never had watery enchiladas until last night. SO nasty!!! The beef was just wet and had no flavor. The corn tortillas, same!! Im confused as to why or how they could be watery but they were. Mushy and just fell apart and the tortillas seemed old. Rice must have been there all night because there were hard bits throughout and again, no flavor. The beans were the only thing that had some taste to it...and that was barely. Super disappointed and gross, after few bites through the enchiladas in...
