On Saturday, November 5, 2016 I met a group of friends at Brewski's Sports Club Bar & Grill located at 304 N. 76th St. in Milwaukee, WI 53213. After being in the bar a merely fifteen minutes, as everyone was preparing to leave, I told a friend that I was going to my car to wait. While in my car I was harassed and accused of consuming an alcoholic beverage by the supposed bar owner, B. Young. He verbally demanded that I get out of my car and accused me of having liquor in my car. When I ignored him by rolling up my window and awaiting my friend in the parking lot, he become angry, walking up to my driver's side door and viciously opening it. After he opened my car door he made a rather sarcastic comment saying, "Now what do you think about this?" I questioned him asking what gives him the right to not only touch my property but to also force his way into my property. His response was, "this is my property and I can do what I want." At this point I'd called the Milwaukee Police Department and my friend out of the bar. B. Young also had his bar backs outside to "calm a situation" that he ignited. Being accused and having my privacy and property violated isn't my idea of superb customer service. This bar owner should be ashamed of himself and his practices! This is a bar that I often patronized but advise others to avoid especially if they’re minority.
It should also be noted that this owner doesn't practice checking identification at the door. On the night of this incident I was informed that there were several underage customers inside Brewski's Sports Club Bar & Grill. For this matter I have also filed a complaint with the City Clerk and...
Read moreI physically CANNOT believe how I was talked to by a large bearded man who works there. I told him I didn’t appreciate the way he was speaking to me as it was unnecessarily rude. I would like a manager to reach out to me please and thank you
Edit: I did reach out today and spoke to someone. He was very kind and apologized and would pass it along to the owners. I thought the man saying oh you can just wait for the next shuttle was just being kind as we were still ordering. I said oh no it’s ok thank you! But to from say to a smaller woman “I’m not asking I’m telling you” in a scary intimidating tone, as my back was turned, in front of 2 children was extremely unacceptable. How was I suppose to know this random man was the shuttle driver? Why didn’t he just say oh I mean this one is full. I achually would have totally sat down and relaxed and wait for the next one! I told him I didn’t appreciate being talked to like that, and he said you know there are requirements to take the shuttle you have to buy something. As my friend was literally sitting there ordering. Not cool to assume I wasn’t going to purchase something. Does he do that to everyone? Then he said he didn’t like how I was talking to him and find a different shuttle. Which was perfectly fine! I don’t know if I’d want someone with such hostility over a simply miscommunication to drive me anyhow. I have lots of family and friends who visit your establishment, however this was...
Read moreExcellent bloody mix but incompetent service. Went in at 1230pm on a sunday and ordered a bloody. Get the bloody and then a menu and discover that they actually have cool looking bloodys with extra garnishes and actual food.... You dont tell people that theres good bloodys before giving them a little nothing bloody? Who does that? Told to just "order another one", and ",theres always next time". Ridiculous.
And there wont be a next time. We caught the bartender plenty early before we got our bloodys and he did NOT allow us to change the order. He knew he made a mistake there but he just said order another one. No option to add the garnishes to the ones we just got? Ita disappointing because you have a great mix but Spitfires on State ended up having a great basic bloody, excellent food, an amazing beer selection. You would have sold me if we had been offered the chance to change our order since I hadnt received the drinks yet, but the blonde dude bartending was busy yaking with some old mini pitcher sipping guy instead. The big guy mixing them seemed to get what happened but again offered no remedy. Left the drinks sit and moved on... but this is how you...
