My roommate and I live out of state and are frequent customers at Good Soup- that should speak volumes about how amazing this place is!!
Over many visits we have tried a variety of soups, including loaded potato, zupa toscana, cheeseburger, both variants of clam chowder, chicken noodle, broccoli cheddar, tomato, and more. Every single one has been AMAZING!! Flavorful, unique, hearty, DELICIOUS!
Soup not what youāre craving? Thatās completely fine because there are always a variety of sandwiches, salads, and mac and cheese options as well! Again, weāve tried numerous variations of each of these and have NEVER been disappointed.
I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing full loaves of their fresh homemade sourdough breads. Weāve tried the chocolate chip (which comes with a cinnamon honey butter), jalapeƱo cheddar, cheddar, garlic, and original sourdough, and let me tell you- it is addicting! The bread is fresh, hearty, flavorful, and simply beautiful. WELL worth the price, as is everything on the menu.
The recent addition of sweet teas has been a dream come true for us, as well. Quite literally, we could drink gallons of it!
Still not convinced? Why not let your furry friends in on the fun! Good Soup has recently started offering dog-friendly meals for your fur babies! Fresh and unprocessed ingredients worthy of your furry companions!
The owner, sole chef, and mastermind behind Good Soup is the kindest, most generous, welcoming soul I have ever met. If there was ever a small business that deserved my patronage, Good Soup is at the very top of the list.
The menu is rotated regularly, so thereās always something new to try! They use only fresh ingredients, so you know youāre getting a healthy and hearty meal. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, cleanly, and cozy. This is a take-out only restaurant, however there is enough parking to enjoy your meal right there in the lot (and go back in for seconds, because trust me, youāll want to!). I would recommend calling ahead to place an order, and sheāll have it ready for you nice and hot when you arrive!
She also offers discounted cold soups which are perfect to grab and take to work or store in the fridge or freezer for later!
Thereās a rewards program as well, which truly is just the cherry on top of this already incredible find. Her prices are reasonable, if not too low in my humble opinion, given the amount of love, time, and effort that clearly goes into her food.
And as if ALL of that wasnāt enough, Good Soup is open late to accommodate those of us who work past the average 9-5.
I genuinely cannot say enough amazing things about this place. Please give them a try! I promise you wonāt regret it and youāll definitely come back for more!
TL;DR This place has incredible food, atmosphere, and is owned and operated by the most wonderful woman on the planet. Try Good Soup! You...

First, we stared at the building contemplating if we needed soup. Yes! It's cold and warmth is on the menu. A really nice worker was heading in and held the door open for us. So kind! Thank you, again!
Next, the aroma!!!!!!! It smells like you walked into someone's kitchen and all of these beautiful wafts of seasoning is just dancing in the air.
Then a really sweet female approaches with a bright smile to take our order. We decided to try the jambalaya, clam chowder and chicken noodle soup. All of the soup came with a chunk of crusty bread and butter. Hunttttyyyyyyyyyy, when she added some green onions and extra hot sauce in the bag, I knew that soup was going to live up to the company name.
Good soup, great employees and fantastic experience. I'll most definitely be back to try some of the other various...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped in 30 minutes before closing on a Friday night and met the owner, who was making bread when we walked in. She was super friendly! We got a medium bacon cheeseburger soup and a medium chicken noodle soup, as well as a loaf of sourdough (the soup also came with a large slice). The bread itself was worth the trip- it had a great crunchy crust and was super chewy.
The soups absolutely lived up to the restaurants name. Iāve never had a soup where the veggies stayed crunchy and didnāt just mush in your mouth. The carrots and onions and celery in the chicken noodle all had some snap/ firmness, and the same with the potato in the bacon cheeseburger. They were both totally delicious. We will be back next...
