Pizzeria Scotty — Restaurant in West Allis

I love the pizza here, I've ordered many times and have always been satisfied. However my last order was a nightmare to say the least. My mom ordered a pizza around 530, usually when I order from here it takes between an hour or hour and a half so when 630 came around and it still hadn't arrived I didn't worry. As it came to 7, I decided that I would call just to see how much longer it would be. The guy said that it was out for delivery, so I figured it would be a few more minutes. As it loomed to 7:45 (2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTED AFTER IT WAS ORDERED ), I called again and this time the guy said that there was a different address associated with my mom's phone number. (My mom had ordered a few times before with the same number and it was always delivered to the right address. ) So i was passed to Kara, the manager, and she told me that there was a miscommunication and that the pizza was delivered to the old address. She said that she could make a new pizza and that I should expect that pizza in A HOUR, So at this point I'm looking at 3 HOURS for this pizza. I expressed my frustrations and confusion on how this could all be happening since my mom just ordered from there last month with no problem. She said she would refund me the money and have it sent out. At this point I'm heavily annoyed, but I decide to wait because I love the pizza. It turns to 845 and the pizza still HASN'T arrived. I call back to discover that Kara never sent the pizza out. It's 9:22 and I'm still waiting on a pizza that I ordered at 5:30. ALOMST 4 HOURS. I hope the customer service can improve because it really was...

My rating isn't on the pizza. The pizza is delicious!!

However, over the last couple of months, the wait time has been ridiculous!! This last month we have been calling a couple of hours beforehand asking for it to be ready at a specific time, hoping it would be done by the time we arrived. Only to be told it's still a 30 minute + wait on arrival!!! If you don't honor call ahead pick-up times, then don't offer it!!

A couple of times, they have even forgotten I was waiting, and after I asked about my pizza, they pulled it out of the warmer.

Three weeks ago, after being told three times it would be another 20 minutes (60 minutes waiting in total for a call ahead pick-up time), I was told again it would be another 20 mins. At that point, I asked for a refund, and as the manager was in the process, all of a sudden, my pizza magically appeared, half of it being pulled out of the warmer. I was told he would still issue the refund. Not sure if he did.

Sitting there so long, I heard several people call to complain about where their pizza was and asking for a refund, not to mention those waiting with me asking for one as well. The manager, under his breath, commented on being understaffed but having been waiting so many times, I knew all the staff was there.

Needless to say, as good as this pizza is, the wait is not worth it!

So what about Pizzeria Scotty? Its the best pizza I have ever had and I am a pizza enthusiast. I have tried 1,419 pizzerias throughout the United States of America. Guess who ranks #1 in my book? Ya, Pizzeria Scotty's. Yes the delivery times can be obnoxious, sometimes the employees can have a bad day and have a hard time keeping emotion at home, but oh well!! They are human beings and are allowed to have bad days just as you and I are allowed to have a bad days. This is the thing, the staff here are great!! The owner and management are more than happy to sacrifice a couple of bucks to keep a customer even if you have only ordered once from them. That says alot folks. I eat here at a minimum of once per week and have never been disappointed. If I had to wait longer than what I am told over the phone they provide the courtesy of a discount on my next order. That is not bad customer service no matter what you may say. I have never felt disrespected or offended and the prices are right on point. The quality of the food is outstanding. It always arrives hot and ready hands down. I am a very picky when it comes to food and ordering from restaraunts. I never hesitate when it comes to Pizzeria Scotty's, they serve the best pizza I have ever had. Keep up the good work Pizzeria Scotty's, and remember everyone who reads this, good food is worth...
