I went to the bar last September 2023 after my son had passed away. I had been up for almost 72 hours straight as I was staying by my son's bedside during his hospice and when he finally passed. I needed to put on a good buzz. They had no problem giving me strong drinks and as I always do, I give great tips. They were fine with that, until I fell asleep on their patio. The place was not busy at that time. I apologized to the owner and tried to explain what my situation was but he didn't care and told me to get out and not to come back again..... like I said; he had no problem taking my money...and he was the one who was extremely rude. As I was walking out the door he continued to yell and berate me and threaten me. Again...I was in a bad place at that time and he wouldn't even give me a chance to explain....especially since I was not bothering anyone.    Read moreI visited Harbor Room about 4 years ago. I'm from Milwaukee but have lived in St. Louis for a very long time. I was in town over Christmas visiting family. I walked in and could tell by the looks of people at me, I wasn't welcome. The bartender then charged me $4.50 for a PBR! I GOT THE HINT, finished quickly and never returned. I went to Woody's after that. I'm a good tipper and spend about 50 to 80 every time, so it's Harbor Rooms loss. My money...
