On the corner of Chase and Oklahoma, La Salsa took the place of Ye Old Dinner Bell for anyone familiar with the area.

The host and server were both very friendly and accommodating. We had a reservation but it wasn't very busy when we arrived that night. We got to choose our table. We were well cared for without being smothered.

The atmosphere is bright and cheerful, with a concept that is like open, but with separate rooms. A wall for privacy, but with cut-outs to give a more spacious feel.

The food is really good. In our group there was the taco salad, nachos, and chimichangas ordered. I decided to something completely different than I usually order when I go for Mexican food. I ordered the Bistec a la Mexicana. Chopped prime rib seasoned and cooked with peppers and onions, served with rice, beans, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. I chose corn. I would say this dish is SIMILAR to fajitas but it not served in a sizzling hot fry pan to your table. It was SO tasty. And of course as always, there was so much. I bummed myself out by forgetting to bring it to work for lunch today. But that just means I'll have...

I went to La Salsa for a late night dinner with my mom. We got there at 9pm and it closes at 10pm. When we walked in the waitress or hostess I don't know who it was, gave us kind of a look of disappointment that we came in. There were 3 other sets of customers there. We could tell by her outward behavior that she wanted us to hurry up and order(so we did) and we got our food very quickly. It was ok(my meat in my enchiladas was dry). We were done eating by 9:35 and had our card out to pay. At 940 the lights above our table were turned off. When the waitress got our payment I mentioned it to the waitress as to why they couldn't have turned other lights out(since no one was there) or wait till we left(clearly we were leaving) and she responded with a shrug and mumbled something about that's where the set is, I think to turn off the open sign? No apologies...we were literally in our car by 9:45pm... they seriously couldn't wait till then?!? This isn't the first time I've received bad service from...

Honestly HORRIBE service. Food was good but the horrible service outweighs the good food. I went there maybe 2 years ago and the waitress was nice but never checked on us to see if we needed anything. Well yesterday I went again and same thing. Same waitress, nice woman. We were the only ones at the restaurant and we sat outside. The only time she checked on us was when she sat someone else outside who ate quick and left. Then it got even worse, as we are the only people there again it started raining. We were under cover so we were good till it started pouring so we were getting wet and as was our food. There was no one there to help us gather our food and bring it in or anyone to give us boxes (so I helped myself). She didn’t do anything until she checked us out. I was really hoping this experience would’ve been a better one because the food was good. But this experience was worse than the...

Visited on a Friday evening. It was busy but to bad. Chips and salsa came , gf said it was too hot for me. It was perfect for me. Ordered a picture of the frozen strawberry margaritas, they were perfectly flavored. Ordered the trio fajitas and they were delicious. Forgot what my gf ordered but enclosed a photo. We had leftovers for the next day. It was our 1st time visiting and we will be back.

Where have I been? I phoned in a pickup order during a recent blizzard and picked it up 15 minutes later. I've always been a GTOs diehard, but this place is roomier inside and the tacos de lomo were so good. The salsa that comes with entrees is different is also amazing, it must incorporate roasted vegetables, and packs in a ton of flavor. Wish they used that for chips and salsa orders.
