China King — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had. It took almost 2 hours for them to deliver the food! I called 3 times to check on our food and we kept getting the in around that he was on his way and give him ten more minutes.. another fifteen minutes went by and it stil was not delivered so I left our hotel to go to the restaurant to ask for a refund.. 2 minutes after I left the hotel the food showed up.. cold (shocker) when I got to the restaurant I was ignored for about 3 minutes.. the delivery driver who took forever to deliver our food walked in a few minutes behind me and left with 6 orders! No wonder it takes them forever to deliver! So I spoke to an employee told them our food was cold and I would like it made fresh as it took almost two hours for it to be delivered. He argues with me that I needed to go back to my hotel and bring him the cold food , I refused! The driver showed up after I left otherwise I would have but I was not about to take another 30 minutes out of my night. After he argued with me that then I would be getting double he FINALLY recooked our order only after two other customers came in. As I am sitting here writing this others have called asking where their food is and he says the same thing he’s on his way.. the driver left 25 minutes ago and has not been back for new food and there are multiple orders sitting here. You want food from here I suggest order it 2 hours before...

The food is good, but here is a list of everything I've dealt with in regards to their delivery service:

1. I ordered Broccoli and Garlic Sauce and was given steamed broccoli. I was told I had to specify that I wanted the sauce. Really, I had to specify that I wanted garlic sauce with my Broccoli and Garlic Sauce. That's a real thing that happened.

2. They were fine for awhile, but then kept telling me "we're coming" when I called multiple times after 2 hours of waiting. They eventually came by the 3 hour mark and forgot to give me rice.

3. I gave them a break after that experience, but they were good again when I started eating there a year later.

4. Tonight they did that thing where they lie that a driver is coming to you after a 2 hour wait.

I think I foolishly gave this place too many chances....

Take my advice and go somewhere else where you can actually get what you ordered. This place seems to either be greedy or or just don't know how to make Chinese food. I asked for a pork fried rice and all I got was brown rice no pork no ingredients just a naked brown rice. Ripping people off that' what their doing. If you want good food go to No1 Chinese restaurant on. I usually buy there but they were closed today so I had to come here and experienced awful food and service. The other restaurant I usually go its called Number 1 and its way better than any other restaurant I've been.. well there you have it if you want good Chinese food don't come to China King an less you like...
