McDonald's — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Oct 28th, I drove in and saw a car waiting in the drive thru at the 2nd window for their food so I knew employees were still working. I went up to the drive thru at 11:50 pm (they close at 12pm). No one said anything. I sat there until 11:57 pm saying hello and nothing. I drive up to the 1st window and I see this employee (in my picture) standing there watching the drive thru camera. She literally watched me the whole time I was sitting there and didn't think to put on a head set to take my order or atleast tell me they closed early. She wouldnt even look my way or acknowledge me. I was only coming to get 1 food item & 1 drink that they owe me (last time I came they didn't have what I ordered and I couldnt cancel it from my end because they marked it as they are making it, so they wrote my name down to come back again another time to get it). It's so crazy because last time I went to mcdonalds it was the one on Morgan and they did the EXACT SAME THING! Seriously, look at my review at that location I took pictures as well of the employees standing around not answering the drive thru cause they want to close early. Idk what it is with these lazy mcdonalds employees thinking they can make their own rules and close 10 minutes early cause they can't wait to go home. Those 10 minutes of work that they are PAYING you for shouldn't be used to stand around and...

While in the drive thru. We stopped on the first speaker, and the girl said move to the next speaker because she couldn't hear us. We repeated twice give us a moment. She then repeated it two other times but with an attitude. Then my mom and I told her give us a moment. In English and in Spanish. We even told her please. Her response, "No" and as she said it she gave a mockingly laugh. My mom and I were furious. We will admit we shouldn't of briefly gone off on her, but that shows the level of class and respect this McDonalds has. It's a McDonald's but far lower than basic from what we saw.

We drove past the first window to the second window. We quickly told the lady attending that window, and she nodded her head and said, the girl speaks Spanish. From the look of the lady's face, it seemed like it wasn't the first time. The lady then got us a manager to help us. We told her and she apologized on the girl's behalf.

The manager clearly was embarrassed of the ordeal. She even asked if we ordered anything and we told her we didn't want to buy anything anymore. We were furious. I can see why this place has two stars. How sad. Shows how much they care about...

I never thought I would give a stellar review of McDonald's, given their plummeting decline into gross and nasty in the last few years, but I will take it all back for this location. I'm a Big Mac fan and I'll bite the bullet to get my monthly fix. I happened to be in this neighborhood because I got lost and it was a happy accident! First, it was CLEAN. The tables showed actual evidence of having been recently wiped down. There were no drifts of garbage on the floor...it was amazing. Second, I was greeted with a smile!!! (I know, right?!). They brought my order TO MY TABLE. With a smile. At this point I'm so astonished I almost forget to eat. Then, it turns out the food is HOT, put together neatly without cheese half of the burger, pickles in the box, onions just a rumor. I'm still in a little shock. I didn't feel like I needed to wolf down my food and leave as quickly as possible. All in all, I couldn't have been happier. If it wasn't so far from where I live, I'd be a regular. I wish I had...
