Went to the Taco Bell at 6276 S 27th street at approximately 1230am. 2 cars were in line in front of me but i was told that the restaurant had to "reboot" their system. 7 min later- i placed my order. I get to the window and pay for the order with a $15 gift card and 1.50 in cash. After waiting another 10 minutes- the guy opens the window and says to me " im SO SORRY. we are out of beef." All of this is happening, and im sitting in the drive thru because DOOR DASH never picked up the order previously, so my anger level about the beef- hit a 10 as soon as the words come out of his mouth. He proceeds to tell me i can go to the other Taco Bell another 4 miles down the road, he will put the 16.50 back on the gift card, and give me a coupon for 2 free tacos because of the inconvenience. I say fine- and proceed to the next Taco Bell. When i get to the window- i hand the manager the gift card, she runs it- and tells me there is a 0 balance on the card. I explained to her i just came from the other store, and because of the no beef issue that is why i was there- i ask her to please call the other store- and verify this. She tells me they are not the same Corporation- so i tell her thats fine i will call. Of course by this time the other Taco Bell is closed-and they had taken their phone off the hook. But its ok. Because i will be personally visiting the 6276 location first thing tomorrow to have my 16.50 replaced on the gift card- because to be honest i feel like the employee possibly pocketed the money from. that sale. Kudos to the manager at the 2nd store- for doing what she could to make it right. I truly wonder though what the "CORPORATE" people who work at Taco Bell- think or even know what goes on in their restaurants late nite. If people dont want to do their jobs properly cause its close to closing- fire them. You dont need bad reviews pouring in. But then again- what do these big corporations really care for? They make millions of dollars. I will never visit this particular taco bell again-and my advice is NEVER stop there late nite. You will definitely be...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would. I keep getting this place another chance because it's so close to my house but the other day was the final straw. Quick bottom line, this is by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever experienced, and the story below is just the latest outrage. This place should be shut down. The Taco Bell on Layton just south of this location is 1000 times better. I'll be driving the extra mile to that location.
The story:
At the drive thru speaker, I was practically yelling right into it and the person kept saying "what?" In a very detached and distracted way, as if they were on their phone. Finally got the order right on the screen, was charged the correct amount, but was asked to pull forward to wait for my food. Then about 5 minutes later someone brought out the bag of food and disappeared back into the store. I pulled over and checked, there were several items I did not order in the bag. I turned right around and went back to the speaker. Without even asking what I wanted, the worker just said, "drive-thru is down and will be down for 25 minutes. Please come back then." When I yelled into the speaker, "I'm not ordering, you gave me the wrong order" they replied "did you not hear what I just said?!?" and then the speaker went dead. I was going to drive up to the actual drive-up window to confront the person face-to-face but then I saw three car fulls of people all yelling at the window person that they got the wrong food. I decided not to get involved in a potentially dangerous physical situation and just drive home. As luck would have it, they by some miracle actually gave us the right food, with some extra items I did not order placed on top.

Read morethis is THE WORST taco bell i’ve ever gone to in my life. i’ve gone to this location 3 times over the last month or so, and each time there has been some excuse given to us at the window. the first time, they were about two hours before closing, and they told us they were only accepting doordash orders. we parked, placed a doordash pickup order, drove back around and got our food. the man at the window said they were only taking online orders because it had “been a long day”. the second time the girl at the window said they couldn’t make us any food because they were out of food, my boyfriend said “you are completely out of food?” she scoffed and said “what’s your order”, he said “can i place an order or not” and she said that we could. we drove off because i would not put it past them to spit in peoples food here. the third time(today), we were told at the window that their card reader was down and they could only take cash orders. when we drove forward, we heard her tell the car behind us that they were only accepting doordash orders. at the window we paid and grabbed the bag, we asked for sauce because none was put in the bag, and the worker tried to say they didn’t have any. another worker gave us some while the first girl just stared at us with her hand on her hip. after getting home, we grabbed out our food and there was an open and used sauce packet in our bag. disgusting. ((not to mention orders are never made correctly)) this location seriously needs to...
