I was SO disappointed. I don't eat out much, so this was going to be a treat. I saw that what used to be their regular taco (plus sour cream) is now their supreme. It was a shock to me that lettuce and tomato aren't included as part of the regular taco like it used to be. The bean burrito had just beans. No cheese like it used to. I didn't see onions, either.
Three times the order taker (Rosa H) asked me if I wanted taco sauce and what kind. Three times I answered what I wanted. It was even on my receipt. At the window is when she asked the 3rd time what I wanted - and she realized that she had the wrong number of burritos, too. Whew, because it used to be a cheap meal to go to Taco Bell. But she said nearly $8.00 for 2 tacos and a bean burrito. It was still over $6 for the three.
I get home, about 15 minutes away due to traffic and that it was beginning to sleet. There's no taco sauce!! How can she ask three times - the final time at the window and still forget????? What I thought was going to be a treat was TRASH. No sauce means the tacos were undesirable and the plain bean burrito inedible.
I tried calling Taco Bell as I saw they had delivery. I couldn't go back out. The phone rang and rang and rang for several minutes - until Verizon said that no one was answering and the call couldn't be completed and cut me off. I called again. Same thing. I called a third time, and then gave up.
I could have eaten a full lunch at El Fuego for just a dollar more and gotten my fill and had a great meal. And I would have gotten free chips and sauce to boot.
I am SO...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Taco Bell in Milwaukee. I have been here only 4 times and each time I've tried to give them another chance, but this will be the last time. My wife and I waited in line to get up to the speaker to order, and once it was our turn to place our order, the employee comes on the speaker to say: "Sorry we aren't accepting any orders but Doordash." In order to get out of the line, we have to wait for the two cars in front of us to exit. I was paying attention to the two cars in front of us. The first car paid with cash and recieved cash back. I proceeded to look at my wife and I said: "I thought Doordash was card only?" The second car, which is right in front of us, was an online order and not Doordash. I get up to the window and the worker proceeds to say, with an attiude, "Doordash orders only." I asked her since when does Doordash accept cash? The young lady says "I can't which (with) you" and then slams the window on my face. I don't know why she couldn't explain the answer to me. It's funny that you can not find a corporate phone number to get in contact with someone, just an email and then they will get back to you. What a joke this place is. If you can not get decent staff, then just close. I'm unsure of how you can be making any money with all the screw up orders and only being open til 8pm. I don't understand this location. Horrible place! Do not stop and waste your money on this hole...
Read moreGrilled Cheese Burrito: In the summer of 2020 Taco Bell released their limited time grilled cheese burrito. Believe it or not, it's been so long since I've been to Taco Bell that the gilled cheese burrito was actually the last item I ordered. I saw that it was back again for a limited time and I got hit with a craving hard. The burrito is stuffed with ground beef, seasoned rice, red strips, and a combination of reduced fat sour cream + chipotle sauce + nacho cheese sauce. This time around I decided to customize it instead of ordering it as is (see my review from 2020). I eliminated the rice, red strips, and chipotle sauce, but added refried beans. There is also a three cheese blend on the inside and grilled on the outside as well. The layer of melted grilled cheese on the outside is the star of the show, but it does make the burrito a little messy to eat as the hands quickly get greasy from it. I don't know if it always looks this way or not, but my burrito also looked rather flat instead of like a typical burrito shape. I love cheese, so this is still one of my Taco Bell favorites. If you love both Taco Bell and cheese then make sure to grab one before they're gone again, Doughboy approved My Taco Bell Favorites: Beefy 5-layer Burrito Grilled Cheese Burrito Soft Taco Doughboy_Food_Reviews *rating based...
