Wolski's is a great Milwaukee bar. I recently moved to the suburbs after living on the lower east side of Milwaukee for many years. This bar is one of the main things I will miss as I obviously won't be frequenting as much now that I am no longer in the neighborhood. Wolski's has a great staff that is very experienced. It is family owned so they have family working there plus loyal servers who have worked there for many years. I always got treated well there and it is always a safe and fun vibe unlike many of the nearby Brady St bars that have gone downhill in recent years in my opinion. Plus, you get free popcorn and they play good music that I enjoy(mostly rock and alternative). The crowd there is somewhat diverse as you get many neighborhood locals and regulars plus people stopping in from out of town because of the "bumperstickers" they are famous for. The age ranges from 20 somethings to 40 somethings and it is usually a good mix of people and males and females especially on the weekends. Obviously the later you go on weekend nights the crowd starts to skew a lot younger. The bar is nothing fancy just a few pool tables and dartboards and an outdoor patio for the summer. The bottom line is Wolski's is just a great local bar and I definitely recommend it for locals or anybody visiting the city from out of town. It is a Milwaukee...

Stopped here 2 nights in a row on vacation in Milwaukee. Had a good time Saturday night and service was excellent. Returned tonight (5/17/21) and got kicked out for absolutely no reason, bartender was a woman with black hair who was extremely rude to me and my friends because much earlier in the night we were talking to a group of people we had just met, we left and came back about an hour later and apparently the random people we had been hanging out with earlier had got in some fight. We were not even present and don't even remember the names of the people we were talking to but apparently this bartender thought we were friends with them and involved in the fight even though we were literally not even in the bar at the time. I tried explaining calmly that we weren't even there and didn't know these people, but the bartender kept interuppting me and very rudely telling me I need to leave and that me and my friends were getting kicked out. Will not stop...

They discriminate against age and only let 25 years old and up in, that's completely illegal and gives a old racist vibe . My lawyer will be hearing about this..I visited this place is a couple years ago when I was on a business conference. Long story short of the late night after a bad day I finally worked up the courage to go into this place on arrival I seen very shady characters behind the bar. Awful Town locals that look like meth addicts and the owner was watching WWE from the 90s. After ordering my 25-cent beer I made my way to the bathroom.. but when I walked in the bathroom, I see 2 drunk bikers getting it on with with some old lady right in the middle of the bathroom. This chick was getting the Bang session of her life. One biker had her bent over and the other was grabbing the back of the head like a set...

Well who hasn’t “closed Wolski’s”??? Please NEVER misunderstand the bumper stickers, no, it is not actually closed, in fact it’s always a great place to “call it” a night & hear your “final call” of the night!!! Great patrons. One of oldest neighborhood long loved establishment. Family run & just a blast every time.

Wolski’s is Milwaukee Dive Bar royalty. Those “I closed Wolski’s” bumper stickers are part of the mythos here. Think clean dive, friendly and lovingly varnished, all in a hard to find house in a residential neighborhood ( use google to walk you in.) Bucket list bar for sure. Hamm’s on tap for the win.

Well, as likely advertised, this place is the real meal deal. It's warm, inviting, lively, many beers options, clean, cool. But, this - the people, bartenders, operators, and patrons - the best of humans. I only gave it 5 stars because there aren't 6 to give.
