Mo Betta Deli — Restaurant in Milwaukie

We went to this "deli" today and the only reason why I am giving it 2 stars, is because they did give you a good amount of food. This place isn't really a deli, its someone just making an at home style sandwiches for $17 for 2 sandwiches. The girl working was smoking a cigarette when we first walked up and walked inside to help us out, it was our first time there. We ordered, she was nice, during the time she was making it she said she ran out of lettuce. No problem, we said. When we got our sandwiches, we heard her talking to someone saying there, now we got lettuce. Basically she was too lazy to chop up lettuce for our 2 sandwiches and instead decided to do it 5 minutes after. Id say subway has better quality than this store. I wasn't going to write a review because as a local I felt bad,. When we got home my husband wanted his other half of the Italian Stallion, he didn't feel good all day and then was craving the other half for dinner. And this is completely UNACCEPTABLE and DISGUSTING. Now we know why he didn't feel good and we are never going to the place again! Could not believe the girl didn't care to even check the bread she was giving us. Save your money and go somewhere else for a real...

This lady has been here for 12 years w/ no raise...shame on the owners...she is one of the best people I've ever meet...and also waltzes thru the kitchen taking care of business and her customers..i ordered the corned beef sandwich...and the ham and cheese...wow was i pleasantly surprised!!they were the best I've had outside of NY City!!every thing was just right!!they could decorate alittle to make it more like a ole fashion deli and tables and chairs need some sprucing..but the service devine and food truly the best locally and a price point that can't be beat...so get down and check it out not too hard to find and drop a note for the owners to give this lady her due ...she's a rare bird these days and deserves a more fair shake!!!....pps:the bathroom door needs a working lock !!fair warning!and the owners should really put just a little more love into it..and it be so class act!!not far off 82nd go spread the Love you'll be...

The food is amazing and huge portions. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid! Sadly there is ONE staff worker who is SO rude, loud, foul-mouthed and ruins the entire experience. She can often be heard complaining about the customers who are still there playing lottery and she’s so loud about it we can all hear her from the lottery room. I refuse to go there anymore if she is working which is sad because this was my go-to to play lottery and have a great lunch. Her name is Dominique I believe and I really hope the owner gets rid of her because they are losing a lot of business due to the behavior of this one employee. ALL the rest of the girls working there are SUPERB and extra friendly. I can’t understand why they keep one bad apple and I know I’m one of many customers that feels this way.
