Wichita Town Pub — Restaurant in Milwaukie

The bartender named Amanda was racially motivated when she cut off the only Asian person in our friend group. We didn't find out until the night was almost over that our friend was cut off, and the reason we knew she was 100% wrong with her decision was because he was one of the designated drivers in our group and had consumed 2 drinks in a 3 to 4 hour period at a previous establishment. She had no problem serving literally everyone else in our group who were beyond their limit and I wouldn't have personally served. The thing is, I wouldn't be writing this review if she had given me the time to explain where we were coming from. I offered her $10 to talk it out, hear where she was coming and listen to my reasoning but she yelled in my face that "she didn't have time for this." We weren't asking for more drinks after we had found out what happened, just for the respect to hash out a misunderstanding. Ordered on line 2 digger burgers priced at $5.50 each. Paid bill which was 29.00 Asked bartender about price difference she said take it up with owner. I gave her my credit card to pay, and she disappeared out of site with my credit card for 4 minutes and different server brought it back. The bill was not legible as the print was very faint. Also an extra charge for to go of $1.00 which not mentioned on line. Definitely not a 14.00 hamburger. Bun was soggy, lettuce looked like cooked spinach. Definitely either old or cooked. I ordered no cheese, came with cheese. Tomato sliced so thin. Dissipated into soggy bun. Fries were crinkle cut frozen, nothing great. I would give this 0 stars but no option. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I was at this pub recently and overheard several employees loudly trash-talking another staff member because she had a massive stroke. Yes — making fun of a serious, life-altering medical condition right in front of customers. This wasn’t whispered gossip; they were laughing and making cruel remarks like it was entertainment. It is beyond inappropriate, unprofessional, and frankly appalling that management allows this type of toxic, heartless behavior in their establishment. If this is how they treat their own people, I can only imagine the complete lack of respect they have for their patrons. Save your money, your dignity, and your appetite — and do not give this place your business. There are plenty of pubs that serve good food and drinks without the side of cruelty...
