McDonald's — Restaurant in Minden

Long, SLOW line in the drive thru. This is common, since they've reopened after the rebuild. They used to be so much faster with only a single line. We thought the new McDonald's, with two lines and 2 speakers would be even faster. Wrong. Apparently, the cooks inside (probably understaffed) can only fill the orders at a pace to serve one line of cars, efficiently. I ordered one salad and 2 Happy Meals. Paid at the first window. Received the 2 kids' drinks at the second window and was asked to pull forward to the 3rd window. Nobody was at the 3rd window....for a long time. Felt like I was forgotten. Sat there about 10 minutes. Finally, a very sweet worker brought my salad to the window. I asked her about the two Happy Meals. She asked me what they were. I told her that both were 6 piece nuggets and double fries. She went away for about 5 more minutes and then, finally brought them to me. She was so sweet and apologetic about the wait, I just couldn't complain to her. I would give her 5 stars for sweetness. But, the overall experience was 1 star. They need some more help where the food prep is going on. I feel sorry for the workers. Total time in the drive thru line was at least 30...

We arrived before closing hour, we were placing our 3 orders a order station , when the staff quit answering us. There wdfe approximately 7 to 9 cars in the parking lot lights on. ,and running. So we order on the app. After a while we heard a female screaming i rolled my window down and a female McDonald's employee was at the pickup window, she directed me to pull over there from the app order parking. When we pulled up, she said that they were going to refund our money because they did not have time to fix our food. I gave my debits card to her she was gone approximately 15 to 20 minutes and handed my card and refund receipt to me shut the windows and left. I would like to say my wife just left there 15 mins ago, and the burger is cold the cheese ain't even melted, and she had asked for my order to be a double quarter pounder add bacon/extra bacon, diced onions and shredded lettuce, the only thing they did get right was the shredded lettuce and mayo and gave me a bacon quarter pound with cheese and sliced onions, yall need to open your ears and quit rushing people and maybe do your job, this is not my only complaint I constantly keep having to come back during the day to render and even then it still is wrong give the customer what they ask for and there won't be any complaints, thank you have a good night since yall have the phone off the hook so it remains busy until close, come on managers, yall making burgers king in Minden Louisiana look good and they...
