My brother and I stopped by the bar for his friend's birthday. It was incredibly loud, and crowded, and there was hardly anywhere to sit. It didn't look like the staff were worried about picking up empties. The tables were full of empty cups and bottles. Needless to say I didn't want to be there. I called a ride and my brother offered to wait with me to make sure I got off alright. As we exited the bar the bouncer angrily walked up snatched my brother's drink (In a plastic go cup) and yelled at him that he couldn't bring drinks outside. (We had previously been outside, only in a fenced area) My brother was apologizing as the guy went inside and threw out his drink and came back out taunting that "that's why you lost your drink! That's why you lost your drink! That's why you lost your drink." It was so hostile and unnecessary. Had he just pointed it out to my brother we would have went right back inside. We weren't belligerent or in any ways trying to get away with something. My brother just wanted to ensure my safety. I personally will never patronize...

Went with my husband to check this place out & oh my WORD its packed on Saturday night!! Very loud, felt cramped inside, so we quickly asked if they sell pitchers (they don’t) got a highlife & went to the patio. It was okay, yet that became packed most the evening as well. They had glasses on the table outside with luchadores on them 🤷‍♀️ why, as it’s not a Hispanic place at all.

We did have a very nice lady came to sell jewelry she had made, I bought some crystal earrings from her…best part of the night.

Tried their pizza, it’s like having a frozen pizza…I’m from NYC so I’m pretty snobby about my 🍕 lol. It did fill my husband up he ate the whole thing except the two tiny slices I had. You can’t hear the music inside, so we used a cell, no one danced, just stood around talking. There was a fire they started in a can, the highlight of the evening. Honestly it was pretty boring, will not go back. Yet if you really like this sort of place, go for it. Be prepared ladies, you have to wait for the only one private bathroom; pretty...

dive-y little place. atmosphere is a bit unassuming at first; you're just not sure what kind of atmosphere or environment it's going to be. treated me well even though i was miles from home and i didn't look like anyone else in the house. like one other reviewer said, very eclectic group of individuals, but they're cool if you have an open mind and are just looking foe a good time. also, this is a beer joint first, anything else second. lots of great microbrews on tap, many from the local area. otherwise, everything else is cheap, from pbr tallboys to highlifes....

I was a regular here in the early aughts (maybe even late 90's?) and these days I stop in occasionally - a couple of times a year, maybe? - to reminisce over a nightcap (or two). It's got a slightly different vibe now than it did then, but what are you gonna do? Times change. Staff is still amazing, including some of the folks I've been seeing for years. Incredible beer selection. My usual #1 reason to stop? They can make a Rusty Nail, which is my favorite cocktail. Tonight's bartender nailed it, no pun intended. Incredible patio, on top of everything else. Go!

Grumpy’s bouncer assaulted a well known Minnesota rapper and legal action is taking place. He walked across the street prior to us even getting on the Grumpy’s property and punched the victim multiple times. He had his hand in his pocket after assaulting him like he had some type of firearm concealed. We have videos of the whole interaction and he also has a camera on his chest, but doesn’t look like it’s on. I hope this gives you an idea of what kind of messy, ghetto place this is to go to.
