Oh YES this was GOOD!

Great staff. Beautiful interior (can't wait to eat in some day). And DELICIOUS food!

We picked up two sandwiches for lunch: The Cubano & fries (him) and The Roast Turkey w/potato salad (me). We were both very happy. If you are not a meat eater (I rarely eat meat), I would go so far as to say that if you could get the roast turkey sandwich with cheese instead of turkey ~ it would be delicious. On that note, the potato salad was great, but had bacon fyi (I enjoyed it very much). The bread was great! I actually could only eat half of my sandwich (portions were generous), so am looking forward to seeing if this sandwich works for leftovers; you may want to consider sharing. We also got some cookies for later (yum) and muffins for breakfast tomorrow (can't wait to try).

We drove out of our way to eat here (live in NE) and will definitely drive out of our way to eat here again.

When we all make it to the other side of the pandemic, I can not wait to take my family and friends here. Speaking of that, the staff is wearing masks to help keep you in good health - please do the same for them when you are here to pick up at their great window.

Addendum: The vegan blueberry muffins were SOOOOO good. And the turkey sandwich reheated GREAT in my Breville sandwich press (I took out the lettuce, but left everything else in). The bread held up really well and wasn't...

Update August 2024. Just had the duck breast special with polenta, blackberry compote and summer veggies. It was excellent order while you can before they change the menu!! Also the blackberry tart was athe perfect balance of a short bread and crumble with JUST the right amount of sweet and salt with the perfect addition of custard and giant blackberries. Get it while you can!! This is arguably the best restaurant I have visited in Twin Cities in last few years. The food was fantastic. Our meals were remarkable. The Cubano is the best I have had in the Twin Cities in the last 15-20 years. The ham was delicious when paired to the pork and the cheese and pickles closed the perfect sandwich. The heirloom buratta kalamata artichoke pasta was excellent. I can't wait to go back to try the burgers and especially buffalo chicken sandwich. The salads looked amazing as many others around us were ordering them. Highest quality ingredients obviously. The truffle fries are a great upgrade. They are perfectly cooked, and the truffle level is just perfect. Not overpowering as it can be when many make them. Staff is great and super knowledgeable about the menu. A very cozy atmosphere indoor and outdoor. Good wine and beer options with a supplemwnt of spritzes if you want something a little different. Can't...

First time here. We were in the area for a bike ride along the Minnehaha Parkway and met some friends for lunch. Didn’t really get to see much of the inside since we got a table behind the restaurant under the tent. It was a nice day to be outside. A little windy and chilly, but not an issue if you had a jacket.

The place was busy, and at times people were waiting to get seated. We had a 12:45 reservation and got seated right away. We were given waters and menus, and we were so busy talking that the server had to come back several times before we made our decisions (thanks for the patience!). Our group ended up ordering the Poke Bowl, Avocado Toast with Fried Eggs, Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, and Blackened Salmon with Dilly Ranch.

It didn’t take long for the food to come out (though we wouldn’t have noticed since we were still talking). Everything was the right temperature, nicely presented, and good portions. Everyone was really happy with their choices — except for mine. The salad part was good, but the Blackened Salmon was overcooked and dried out. It had good flavor, just cooked too long.

Overall, a decent experience. I’d be interested in dining inside the building next time. The service the entire time was very attentive. But I’d definitely stay away from the...
