Jimmy's Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Me and My husband came for a night out without the kids and was ripped off for 40$ we paid to play on the E-tabs. This is a restaurant that my husband’s family has came too for years and his grandfather as well as his entire family is well known here. When I went back to the counter to let them know that our cash never showed up on the E-tab, He acted really rude and accused me and my husband of playing it. We hadn’t been seated for 5 minutes before I went back to the register to let him know our cash wasn’t showing up. I will never come back to Jimmy’s. I felt very be-littled, judged and stereo typed when I am a very well- educated woman. I will make sure my family never comes here again and I guarantee the customers here are more then likely...

used to come here on the regular for the last 4 to 5 years. I saw the owner of the bar assault one of his bartenders and body slam him on the floor. this is twice I saw him verbally and then physically assault him in front of patrons. This bar needs new ownership or needs to be shut down. the owner is violent and doesn't deserve anybody's money. this server was extremely friendly and kind every time I've been there. nobody deserves to be treated like that! Assault charges are in the works I'm sure. Please don't spend your money here. Nobody deserves that kind of abuse.... EVER! Other servers have been nice but... It's my FAVORITE And Friendly Bar in the Twin Cities. My Dear Friends and Owner are Very Sweet People and Friends, as I said before and can't express it more!!!!! DO NOT ABUSE This Place By Referring to it as a "Dump", nor when You ALL go INSULTINGLY Go "Slumming" in Northeast Minneapolis! This Place has Always Taken PRIDE in their ESTABLISHMENT as it has been Standing for MANY YEARS. APPRECIATE IT WITH RESPECT, And KEEP IT Your Secret so the Bad Element People don't come in!!!!!!!!!!!
