Pineda Tacos — Restaurant in Minneapolis

I love burritos!!! Whenever I get Mexican, I go for burritos! I love rice, beans, meat, and all that comes with it all wrapped up in a huge tortilla. I came here with my girlfriend and it was poppin' during the lunch hour. The line was long, to the point that it goes out the door! This place did not disappoint!

I ordered a carnitas (best meat!!!) burrito and my girlfriend ordered tacos and horchata. The burrito was yum! I love burritos, and their carnitas was on point! Flavoring was really good and you can tell it was marinated really well. Fatty and juicy, you name it! It's yum! It was very nice sized burrito as well. Very filling and nicely priced. My girlfriend got a few tacos and she thought it was good as well. Not as much as the tacos she gets at Taco La Hacienda, but good nonetheless. The horchata was also pretty good as well.

Overall, Pineda Tacos is a great place to satisfy a Mexican craving. I believe they are a chain too, so many locations to serve your needs.

Absolutely love this place, they are friendly, the food is AWESOME, and the art has a certain flavor I love too! Go check it out for yourself, I'm sure you'll feel the same way (at least about the food!) .....oh my single complaint is that there seems to nothing with very much heat¿ Yeah, it's not very spicy, I've tried more than a couple dishes here and not a single one has any real HEAT. Usually that's a deal breaker for me, because not even their salsa is even the least bit spicy if you like it HOT. But the food is really good and authentic so I don't take away any stars, I only say that if you work there and your reading this, PLEASE make some dishes alot spicier, and make at least one of your salsas ALOT HOTTER! When I was in here tonight, I got a burrito, 3 tacos, and a burrito bowl. I asked for all with carne asada for the meat. Which actually got repeated 3 or 4 times before the order was finished. When we got to the end, I asked for some salsa, and some sour cream on the side. The guy who was helping me seemed frustrated, then said yes. When I got home, everything was made with carne molida (ground beef) and there was no sides like I asked for. I'm pregnant and was really excited to have this, but I didn't even eat much of it. I could've made a ground beef bowl, burrito, and tacos at home. For this happening the first time I try it, it'll be a while...
