After the last two experiences I've had, I have been left no other option but to complain. This morning I ordered breakfast for 2 and after $41+ with tip, we are left sitting here scratching our heads wondering not only how to find some condiments, napkins and most importantly, some utensils so we can eat our breakfast....I mean, for a $4 pancake (yes, 1 pancake), you'd think they would give you some butter and syrup but nope. Nada. My bad for not "double-checking" when I picked it up, but to be honest, I had just woke up and was still in my pjs and looked pretty scary so I was wanting to get in and out and was still half asleep. And, again, for having paid over $40 with tip (for a breakfast for 2!), I guess that I assumed that they would include jelly, syrup, or at the least, some utensils and a napkin or 2! Kind of why I even give a tip for a to-go order that I have to come and pick up - for those that prepare my order and make sure that it's all good to eat the meal that I just spent my hard earned money on.....we aren't at home but somewhere that has nothing (which is why we ordered out in the 1st place) and here we sit. Too far away to go back to get any of this, not wanting to spend the extra money at the store to buy jelly, butter, syrup and then finding some silverware, and hungry having just decided that we are going to eat this now cold food plain and with our fingers. Not happy. Not excited. But starving and going to go try to choke down our $40+ breakfast for 2! The time before this when I was there is a whole...
Read moreI only went here once and probably will never be back. GF and I walk in for the first time and decide to sit at the bar. We sit there for 10 minutes without even being greeted. I do see a older lady who seems to be a bartender/waitress who was running around doing the best she can while another gentlemen was also behind the bar talking about the MN Twins with a customer next to me (presume he’s a regular). I finally had enough waiting and ask the guy if he worked here (which I knew he did because he was behind the bar). He looked shocked that I interrupted his very important conversation about the Twins (who at this time only played 6-10 games). He says yes in not the most friendly way but I don’t care about that at this point. I say well can we get some service, and you can tell he got mad because he didn’t say a word and grabbed two menus and put them down and walked away. (Vibe I got was that he was the owner who thought because he was the owner he was a big shot, and how dare anyone ask for help in his bar) what was funny is after I interrupted his Twins conversation and asked for service I looked across the bar and some older gentlemen looked at me, smiled and nodded his head in a way that makes me think he sees this dude do rude stuff like this all the time and was glad someone said something. The older bartender lady came over after we looked over the menu and she...
Read moreTerrible experience tonight. Regular at this bar and got treated like a second class citizen. Date and I along with a buddy order a few drinks. Buddy leaves after an hour. Date and I are left trying to get service by an overworked bartender/waitress. Boss lady is of absolutely no help to the bartender or the solo kitchen help. We finally get a an order of wings and a burger in....30 minutes later, we see our food on the kitchen ledge awaiting to be served. Bartender even put plates in front pf us. My Date overheard the boss lady say to the cook that she's going to take our order of wings over to a larger party's table and that "they can wait". BOSS lady moves my burger off to the side to get cold while the cook makes another order. Bartender comes over and says it'll be a minute. We decide to simply leave due to waiting close to 45 minutes for wings and a burger. No class at all spring street. Bring back the old employees who cared out the neighborhood people who built this place. I originally reviewed you guys at 5 stars. You lost my business Instead you cater to the yuppie kids making all the noise in the back, playing "Young Buck" on the juke box. Sad stuff guys! Give me...
