Throughout our wedding planning process, Amanda seemed great and loved all of the ideas that I had for the reception. I was very patient with them from the beginning, they were in the process of changing their wedding packages, and I had to wait and receive multiple quotes from them before they could give me anything final. There were a ton of errors in the process, but I was understanding that things happen. We ended up with the most expensive package they offered. I was the diy bride, made my own centerpieces and ideas for the children's activity table. I was very thorough and detailed with Amanda, communicating mostly through email and on the phone. I'm very understanding of the fact that it can be hard to remember small details when you are planning so many events at once. I thought I was receiving top notch service and that Amanda was the best person I'd ever worked with. But, the day before the wedding, Amanda seemed very overwhelmed by the small box, and 6 centerpieces that we brought in. We needed to pay our final balance that day, but after she took our credit card, she realized THEY HAD MADE A MISTAKE ON OUR HEADCOUNT AND THAT WE OWED MORE MONEY. Instead of eating the $170 difference that any good company would do because it was their mistake, she wanted us to pay it. They eventually fixed it. But the problems didn't stop there. It became obvious that Amanda did not remember much of our communication. They messed up the timing of the champagne, causing all of our guests to have to go to the bar the moment the reception started. They balled up our cotton candy into to tight balls (cotton candy is supposed to be loose). IT LOOKED AWFUL. Amanda seemed very overwhelmed, and in turn overwhelmed us. I received attitude from her throughout the evening, and dealt with sarcastic comments she made to my mother (who had no clue what was going on), on my wedding night. It truly hurt my feelings. I actually had to excuse myself to calm down after the fact. I wanted to wait for our cake and cupcakes and decorations after the reception was over, but the manager, Brian, pushed me out the door. I've never felt so insulted. Upon retrieval, the cake had a massive hand print on it from someone picking it up with their hand to put in the box and we only received 6 of the 25 cupcakes left. THEIR EMPLOYEES ATE OUR CUPCAKES. I knew something wasn't right about him pushing me out the door and not letting me wait for my things. Two of my centerpieces were completely broken from being handled harshly. They were made from manzanita, which is one of the most durable trees. Yet, they still managed to break them. They had squished them into a small box, and when we pulled the trees out, they were just falling apart. I called Brian, highly upset with how disrespected I was, and received the worst attitude from him. No sincere apology, nothing. Its heartbreaking. You'd think when you spend thousands of dollars with a company, you deserve to be treated well. Not like this. They were just done and have no care that they damaged what we spent hours and hundreds of dollars making. We couldn't even receive a sincere apology. THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN SHORTENED DUE TO...
Read moreI wish I could give this place negative stars. I can honestly say this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, 100% because of the service and the owner. I work for restaurants and I never thought I would leave a review like this. We showed up at 5:30 with 2 small children thinking we would have an early dinner. The wait was long for a table (about an hour) but that was expected for a Friday night at the beach. We finally got a table, and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order. When the waiter took our drink order we ordered an appetizer. The appetizer came out 15 min later and we hadn’t gotten our drinks yet. We asked the server if we could at least get some waters. We finally got water when we were almost done with the appetizer. Our drinks That we ordered came 15 min later. The margarita that I got tasted absolutely terrible, like it had no alcohol in it at all. The bartender was very nice and fixed that for us, probably the only helpful person in the restaurant. We then proceeded to wait 2 hours with no food or other drinks. The only apology, or any sort of acknowledgement that we got that we were waiting so long came from our waiter who said they had a ton of other parties. Apparently we didn’t matter at all. While we waited we spoke with at least 3 other tables who were also very frustrated with the wait. It seemed like some sort of joke. At around 8:30, we needed to get the kids to bed, so I went and told our waiter that we couldn’t wait any longer and we needed to leave. He said he would check on our food. Nothing else happened after that. I saw a man who looked like he may be in charge, and working in restaurants and knowing how things go, I thought I should maybe go let him know what had happened. I walked up to him and asked if he was a manager. He very rudely said “Oh, I’m the owner” I said we need to leave because we’ve been waiting for almost 3 hours and I’ve got to get the kids home. All he said was “I highly doubt that”. I said again, we need to leave and he said “that’s fine, I don’t want him in my restaurant anyways” pointing at my husband. My husband had gotten frustrated after waiting so long with absolutely no service and said very loudly at one point “I want food” which is what he was referring to. So then we got up and left. What an absolutely terrible way to run a business. If someone is visibly upset at your restaurant, why not offer to fix the problem? Why not ask if they want more drinks? Anything? We would have had a great time sitting and hanging out and having drinks. But it gets really old to sit in a restaurant for hours wondering if you will ever get your food. The entire experience was off. It built up to this. I have never seen a more rude and unprofessional owner. His staff was obviously overworked and overwhelmed because they poorly planned events that night. I hope that he reads this and knows that he is terrible at what he does. Have a great night dude, you’re one of the worst people I’ve...

I won’t use his name, but it rhymes with Batt.
When we called to order, we were specific on what we wanted, no veggies or sauce on a burger, and a chicken strip basket. A side of Mac and cheese with both. We also got cheese fries.
Batt said 20 mins. I went down after 30 to get it. I walked up to him and said, “hello I called an order in” and stated my name. He just stared at me like asked him a complex math question and then asked. “What do you want?” Explained it a 2nd time, the same way and he asked my name. Well ok Batt, how many Batman origins are we gonna do here, let’s give this another go..
Peter Griffin finally understood, and said just a moment. He put the printed out receipt for me to sign in a waitress book, rather than just reaching it to me. Remember this is basically curbside pickup.
I take it out, sign it and scoot it back on the counter. Now, a few moments later he picks it up and inspects it and says “If your not going to leave a tip, write 0.00 on the tip line and the new total.”
For curbside pickup, I have never heard someone get snippy for not leaving a tip. Like.. nobody did anything for me. I don’t go to Wendy’s, order a shake and tip the server, unless that server was Willie Nelson, because they moved their arm to reach me food.
I said no problem, wrote in the 0, and slid it back to him.
I watch another guy bring a bag of food out toward me, Gandolf the Wise (Aka Batt) waves his hand and tells the guy to bring it to him. He then sits it on the other side of the counter for 10 minutes or so. I know it’s mine because of the two cups of Mac and cheese.
10 minutes go by and I guess he decides it’s time for him to give me the food. I watch him get the same bag, sit it in the counter and just look at me. I walked over and thanked him for the food, and Batt decided that instead of saying anything, he would look down at my signed piece of paper, back at me, and then just turns around. I guess he decided to be Batman and tried to slip into the night of the 12:00 mid day sun.
I get back to the room, and it doesn’t end there. Everything was on the burger, the bun is so soggy you can’t hold it, instead of a medium patty, it’s so rare, I bet Asmongold would go “No way Duuuude!” The Mac and cheese just tasted like a dry noodle in a cup of white water. The breading on the chicken strip slid off when I picked up the chicken strip. It came with hush puppies, they might as well as been rocks, as you couldn’t bite through them.
What an amazing meal for 65$, which apparently must have required that tip to...
