I hate to say this but this maybe ONE OF THE WORST experience I've had at this location. I have been to this place 2-3 times in the past few years and after a LONG WHILE I've decided to give this place another try and this experience has been my 4th time and LAST TIME!
The last 2-3 times I went there, the food was pretty good. But for whatever reason this time, the food was SUPER MID. (maybe they changed chef because when i walked in, the place looked like there may have been some sort of renovation/changes going on).
I came in at around 5pm and ordered a stew chicken. Normally before wrapping up the food, the lady in the front would always open the plate up and show me what the food looks like and ask me if everything was to my liking. This time, the guy that was up front wrapped the food up and handed it to me so I didn't check the food until I got home.
After getting home, at first glance, the presentation of the stew chicken was NOT EYE PLEASING. The meat was extremely dry and it tasted more like stew turkey. It looked like they gave a mixture of both turkey and chicken. Now I don't know if it's because they ran out of chicken but if that was the case, all the guy had to do was tell me that they didn't have anymore chicken.
I won't be going back to that place because I KNOW WHAT GOOD HAITIAN FOOD TASTE LIKE and this...
Read moreThis restaurant was recommended by the front desk of the hotel that I'm staying at. My wife has food allergies. The server from Serbia does not have any respect or manners about people with allergies. The service so far is horrible. The table next to me order drinks 15 minutes ago and are also complaining about the service. Everything that any client ask is a big NO, like side dish substitutions. My wife got her drink made wrong twice. No chef or manager came to the table even though my wife requested due to allergies. My wife's filet mignon was ordered medium but came out chard on the outside. My shrimp fettuccine was excellent. The service was horrible. I will not recommend this...
Read moreBon Appetit has new owners and a new name. The food is EXCELLENT and the new owner is very friendly and kind. The restaurant has been very slow at the times I have visited. I believe the new owner is still working on the anesthetics for the restaurant to be more enticing to their patrons. This restaurant is worth you trying. You won't regret the authentic creole flavors...
