My family and I went to this Miami Grill on Friday evening, the young lady who took our order was very professional, patient and polite even when my family was asking questions (🤦🏾♀️) she remained polite. When we got to the window, beautiful young woman arrived smiling and gave us the amount. Family decided they wanted to pay separately, she politely accommodated never not smiling and still taking orders on the headset. 2nd Window is were everything went down hill; young lady comes to the window, I can already see her face is "I'm frustrated". No pleasantries, which is OK, not professional but you are who you are. She gives me the bags, I ask about to get a ranch dressing (we were willing to pay the extra 50 cents; she goes "then give me the blue cheese back" Me: what and why? Her: you can't have both. Me: they have celery sticks, nevet mind. Me: Ms the Gyro is missing, Her rudely: there was no Gyro. Me: telling my cousin to give me the receipt, she walks away The first young lady who took the order arrives with the Gyro and apologies. My family is steaming, wanting to talk to the manager but, I say no there are cars behind us. If there was a manager there, they had to have seen or heard this interaction. Nevertheless we won't return. Food was good, they ate it but the service started at 5 starts and went to 1. (I'll average it 3)
To the young woman with the rude attitude, do better love. If not pick a different job that doesn't involve working...
Read moreAfter a long 10 hour shift I went home and showered and felt the hunger for some wings and fries. Decided to go to Miami grill but not the one I usually go to near Fort Lauderdale but to this location because it was closer and I was ready to get food and go back home and relax. There was 4 cars in front of me when I ordered and I noticed how when the next car got to the front they would only be there for less than 2 mins for each one where as if I was at the other location in Fort Lauderdale where they cook the chicken fresh and all the way through it would at least take a solid 8-15 minutes for each car including me. I Got the food fast only being in line for less than 10 minutes after the 4 cars in front and came home, the chicken was not all the way cook through and tasted funny. Couldn’t even eat them fearing I would end up getting food poisoning and wake up with an upset stomach so I decided to just eat the fries and order wawa. The fries was no better, tasted just like the chicken did with a weird funny taste like the grease was real old or something and left a nasty taste in my mouth and made me lose my appetite for the night. Will not be coming back to this location 1-6am ever again for a late night meal. Wasted 20$ on the 10 wing platter and in gas coming to this establishment,...
Read moreI recently made a quick stop to grab a gyro for a coworker, but as I was waiting, I found myself wishing I could cancel the order entirely. At the drive-thru speaker, the worker was unable—or perhaps unwilling—to provide the total cost of the meal, leaving me in the dark about what I was about to pay.
When I finally reached the second window, I was taken aback to be told the total is $10. Initially, I thought the jump from $8.99 to $10 could be attributed to hefty taxes, but something about the math just didn't add up. Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to ask for a receipt to clarify the charges.
At first, the worker handed me the order label that's normally attached to the bag, which did nothing to help me understand the discrepancy. Being persistent in requesting a proper receipt, I finally received one, yet I noticed that my change was nowhere to be seen. The fact that I had to ask for my change felt very telling about the experience.
While I have no complaints that the gyro itself was delicious—the overall experience was overshadowed by the...
