This place... is a golden needle in a haystack.
I've tried many restaurants including some high tier ones where the food is amazing, this place, however, is the only restaurant that has hit the mark when it comes to homestyle cooking, it took me back 3 decades ago when my great grandma used to cook the best Peruvian food I've ever had, even something as simple as estofado de pollo hits the mark in taste and presentation, they have a Peruvian food cantina which is priced generously given the portion size and the quality, the only problem is the location, like I said it's very hard to find, the owner is a sweet old lady with an amazing hand for homestyle cooking, highly recommended just like merkado 31 for it's...
Read moreI came today for the first time with my husband and I can proudly say that the food was amazing! We have went to different peruvian places and my husband always orders talladerin verde and it not the same as he likes it but this place hands down got it right! I love picarones and they had them here! And it is the best I have had. The service was amazing, I felt like I was at a family members house eating, she was so sweet. I give this place 10 /10, it is the best authentic peruvian food in town, and I say this because both my parents are peruvian. Thank you so much for the great food and service. I will be coming back...

Sara was so great and patient. She took time to explain what some of the popular dishes were and even showed us a dish she was preparing which we ended up ordering (lomo saltado). It was some of the most delicious food I have had in a long time. The portion was generous and filling and you can literally taste the love.
Well done, Sara! I can’t wait to visit again as soon as I travel back...
