Localicious Caribbean Ice Cream — Restaurant in Miramar

I’ve been to this ice cream shop several times, and honestly, it’s surprising to see how Academic and Community Resources gives one-star reviews to almost every place he/she visits — maybe the problem isn’t the businesses, but his/her attitude.

This shop is very easy to find: there’s a giant ice cream cone right in front, a big sign that says Ice Cream, window logos, two “Open” signs, and music playing inside and outside that make it very inviting. At night, it looks even better!

Inside, everything is always clean, neat, and well-organized. The staff are super friendly and patient, always offering samples so you can try different flavors before choosing. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

This business has great potential, BUT THAT Cashier you have working on this day September 29,2022 is a disgrace to your establishment. This lady find it OFFENSIVE and catch a ATTITUDE because I told her to STOP talking over the ice cream while sharing it. First off her sitting outside behaving ratchet on her phone was surprising because that’s not how we are accustomed to be welcome whenever we go there. Then for her not wearing a mask and chatting away while sharing the ice was a turn off. Lastly to catch a full attitude because we tell her to stop was the last of it for us.

Just an opinion from a regular customer you will be losing many more customers if you allow her to continue this way it’s not a good look for your business.

For today we gladly went to Publix a few doors away to buy ice cream...

Ask for exact cost before you order or you'll be shocked when ordering ice cream cones. The prices posted are very misleading. We ordered 2 ice cones with 2 scoops of different flavors for each cone. See Their picture: Their listed price is $6.50 for 1 scoop and $8.50 for 2 scoops and $1 for each cones, so the price should have been $9.50+tax per cone for a total of $19.00 + tax. But we were charged $6.50 for each individual scoop for a total of $28.00 + tax ($30.80) for 2 ice cream cones, see picture. We told and showed the staff (Tete) their price but she said that is how they charge for cones. Be careful and confirm the total price...
