Tien Tien Chinese — Restaurant in Miramar

I have been ordering from them for years. I use to work right next door to them, know the owner and staff pretty well. They made an error with my order, blamed me for the error, then insisted that he would bring back the money. I offered to pay the extra delivery fee again (since my area costs more). The manager told me he would rather bring me back my money and be done with me, costing them another trip, time, gas and an unhappy customer. That was last week and I called again to order today hoping that it would be a different turn out. My order was taken by a nice and very accommodating lady. After my order was taken and said to be delivered in 40mins I provided the address (which was not asked for), upon which time the manager told the employee that they no longer deliver to my area. Naturally I spoke to the manager to find out what was going on as I have lived here for a long time. Basically I am being refused service for an error made by the restaurant that I was willing to pay additional for that happened last week. That is very disheartening for a customer who has been loyal and provided continual business...

I asked specifically for a quart of "Vegetable Chow Mein" and in return I received a quart of steamed "Vegetables " literally (Bean sprouts, green beans, carrots and etc.) No noodles, soy sauce or anything. The reason I'm scoring this so low is because of the disappointing customer service I received. I informed the person that serviced me that Chow Mein has noodles in it and I'll like to exchange it, but he disagreed and said that Vegetable Chow Mein is just Vegetables and if you type in Google images: "Vegetable Chow Mein" You'll see that he's clearly incorrect. My friends recommended me to this restaurant but the service wasn't up to par. I wasn't able to return my order because my lunch break time at my job was up and I didn't have any time left to go back. I’ve been a customer since 2003. Up until recently, the food quality was good. Now it’s horrible! Several people have mentioned new management, however, the same staff is there. Whatever the case is, I hope they go back to their previous quality level. My favorite was their unique sweet clear honey garlic sauce. Now they’re serving the same dark bitter/tart sauce as all the other restaurants. Scallions, eggs, and bean sprouts have been replaced with corn. The rice grain type is different and the flavor is just bland. I guess I’ll have to drive farther out to get better Chinese food.
