Smoothie Bar — Restaurant in Miramar

As a first time customer this was an horrible experience. I arrived around 6:30 and we were greeted at the door by a young lady. She asked us for our order and told us they were out of shrimp and chicken. They only had jerk chicken, salmon, and tuna. We asked for more clarity around which items can we get with those meats. The young lady names the items but still did not give us a menu. After placing our order we realized that they had flyer menus on the high top counter but again no one told us this We ordered what we could and this is when things got out of line. The cook which was a young lady (dark skin, long hair weave, 2 nose piercings on each side of the nostrils) seemed very annoy and gave “very nasty attitude”. While she made our food she had 2 phone conversations (on speaker phone), she coughed at least 4 times, she passed her phone across the counter to another guest with the same gloves, her hair was all over the place with NO HAIR NET, and she complained continuously stating they not taking anymore orders. Also when while we were placing our order she came to the counter a few times (with those same gloves) asking the other young lady what are we getting. I’m assuming to get ahead of the order. However, we felt rushed, the food looked rushed, and the food tasted rushed. The cashier(young brown skin and very petite) was very nice. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The last couple of times I have ordered my food from Smoothie Bar In Miramar, Fl they have forgotten to make my meal after me waiting 20 + minutes and paying ahead. Today I decided to give them another try since i work in the same plaza. I explained my frustrations to one of the staff members about my experience the last couple of times. Instead of being understanding of the inconvenience “ Bri “ continued to let me know that the food is made fresh and that’s why it takes so long. I let her know that i don’t mind waiting and it’s the fact that they never started the meal in the first place. Bri then let me know if I come back and the meal that I paid for is not complete she’ll happily give me a refund or I can talk to the manager “Richie”. The employees are never attentive and are always joking around. I asked for my refund because they had horrible attitudes & poor customer service. Upon arrival, as soon as I walked in the energy was off. No one offered a menu but was very adamant about only having tuna, salmon & jerk chicken. The customer service by the cashier (slim petite young lady) was great. There was another girl who was cooking (dark skin young lady double nose piercing). She had a very nasty attitude, rude, was on and off the phone while making my order, coughing constantly & touching her hair (all with the same gloves). I was told there was no more grilled chicken or shrimp; however, she had chicken on the stove cooking for her and the other workers. She also was yelling to the cashier as people were coming in “no more food orders only smoothies” - very unprofessional.

The food was made to order but the salmon was cold when i ate it & tasted like frozen salmon, not fresh. It seemed as if the parents left their kids in charge. There was no “authoritative” figure there at all and it showed!
