We live a couple blocks away, so I was really excited about this place opening. We went with our neighbors tonight. *The staff were very friendly. They get a 10/10. bathrooms (outdoors) get a 9.5. Clean, nice, no mirrors.
The game room is 50/50. It's cute, but pool is twice the price of any other bar in town.
Those were the good parts. Now the bad: can't smoke but in a hidden, stand up , corner of the deck. This is why I pick outdoor seating. The people that I stood there smoking with complained about the same. they were out of over half of the beers on the draft list. I myself asked for 5 different beers before I found one they had. *my neighbor ordered fries. Just fries. They took 45 mins *my husband ordered a burger. Also took about 45 mins, but instead of being medium as ordered. It was well done. Sent it back. An hour layer, it still hadn't come back out. We wound up just canceling the order and going home. *no liquor. If you want liquor, you have to bring and pour your own, plus pay them a $10 per person fee and buy their mixers. *bar stools were horribly uncomfortable. If I can figure out how to attach a picture I will.
Overall, I will probably give it one more chance at some point since they just opened. But definitely things...
Read moreGreat hamburgers! Enjoyed the Sunday Jam and awesome, friendly staff. Always great service and well worth the wait for food when the kitchen is slammed. These people go the extra mile. I don’t expect to be greeted at the door because seating is up to you wherever you decide to sit in or outside. I don’t expect cushions on the bar chairs either. I go there for the food and music. People writing bad reviews appear to be well established in critical analysis of local establishments. Go get some good food and bring a cushy pillow to sit on the next time. Maybe you won’t get butt hurt. The pizzas are great too but not just like Pizza Hut food. Support your local (not a corporate chain eatery) family owned and run businesses. If you can suggest an improvement then tell it to the management. If it’s that bad then by all means go...
Read morePaid $40 in advance online for venue, another $35 for bar food for 2(chicken tenders, fries, and sodas {flat} with no refills), and even a $10 tip after the person at register said she would personally bring the food when ready over to the venue building. She even gave us a restaurant pager, so we would “know when I’m coming with your food.” What a WASTE of money! Not only did the pager never go off, they never brought our food. My husband had to go in the kitchen to get our food himself. We spent $13 for some canned cokes when refills were apparently out of the question. The food was mediocre. They left my bbq dipping sauce off my tender basket and gave me about 10 pickle fries, if that many. The only decent part of the evening was the entertainment by the Hub City Players, who were top notch. We left early, though,...
