First time trying Korean BBQ, I was extremely excited. We had an excellent server named Mina. The pre cooked food and the soup was fantastic (if that’s your thing). The problem we had was with the actual BBQ part. Our Grill/griddle/cooker was hardly operable unless at the highest setting. Mina tried resolving the issue by heating it up to the highest setting and then coming back in a while after it had heated up and turning the machine back to a normal temp. While turning up the temperature was the solution long term, it took us an entire hour to be able to cook our meats (still took a long time to cook anything). We asked Mina if this was usual, she said no but we overheard another server saying she had issues with this table for a while. Mina got a worker to come and “fix” the cooker. He obviously didn’t understand our problem because he told us to put all of our food on it at once. 30 minutes later the meat was almost cooked. (Keep in mind we had been there for 1.5 hours at this point and it usually takes less than 10 minutes to cook the amount of food we got). Our server tried to get management to refund us for the faulty cooker. The manager came and belittled us and acted as if we were trying to rip them off. The worker that tried to “fix” the cooker also joined her. He told us all the food was done and proceeded to cook in front of us as if we didn’t understand the machine. (1.5 hours into cooking). My party and I proceeded to ask him to leave, eat our food we had been waiting on, and got our check from Mina. The check was the full price of $35 per person despite being advertised on their Facebook as $25 (We went on Wednesday). I spent $103.56 (2 meals, 2 drinks, $20 tip for the excellent server that had to deal with four irritated customers and poor management)

Before going to this restaurant please know that the management only wants your money, They do not want you to have a quality time, and they definitely do not take their customers seriously.

If you own a business and need new workers, HAE has several outstanding servers that made our experience much more friendly. It seems as if the workers would benefit from having...

I went to eat here for Father’s Day and was so excited to try something new! I am normally a very open minded person and never have a problem trying new foods. We checked out the Facebook page and saw that they were doing a Father’s Day special that included crab legs for $35 a person. We have a two year old and like most two year olds he does not eat much. Right off the bat they asked to measure him (I don’t quite understand the measurement, I mean honestly how much is a two year old actually going to eat and paying half price which would be $15 is not reasonable for a 2 year olds appetite) he ended up just making the cut and we did not end up having to pay for him. We were not sure how to order or how anything works and we made that very clear to our server but other than a very brief explanation there was absolutely no help. If you don’t eat all your food then a 14.00 per pound will be applied ( I made my toddler a plate of a small scoop of oranges and a small scoop of rice and was threatened if I didn’t eat it I would have to pay $14) you are only allowed 2 hours to eat or they will add additional charges which 2 hours seems like a while till you have to cook your own food. The food quality was VERY POOR! The crab legs had no flavor and water poured out of them! Most of the buffet was cold and flavorless and the soup broth tasted terrible. I never leave bad reviews but this place was not worth the $120. The food was terrible and the service...

Delicious hot pot and kbbq spot! If you don’t know how to dine out with Korean BBQ or hot pot I recommend watching a few videos. For the critics: Yes, you do have to cook it yourself, but it’s a communal experience and very fun.

Full disclosure: we drive a hour and twenty minutes for this place every other week. We travel often and try to eat hot pot with every trip out of state; this is in our top 3 hot pot places!

Recommend the tonkotsu (pork) soup base.

Tons of sauce selections at the bar for you to customize your own experience.

Hot food at the bar is actually good; they seem to put out smaller batches of it so it has been consistently fresh for us.

BBQ options are phenomenal. Love the strip loin, shrimp, and chicken.

Hot pot options are top tier. The hot pot rolled meats are great quality. Everything is fresh and constantly tended. Try the quail eggs!

They have recently improved their vegetable selection which is a big deal for us since my wife eats mostly vegetarian. The last time we came (pre improvement) the manager (I believe she’s a manager) actually went to the back and got us additional vegetables. Since then it seems they’ve expanded the selections and we are thrilled with it.

Service is consistently good. Wait staff is friendly and very helpful.

Suggestion to management: we love your sauce bar! If you see room for it, we’d love a peanut paste/sauce addition! The sesame is great, but we love a good...

Good Korean BBQ and fun experience cooking would enjoy more direction and help with flavors like maybe direction or recipes etc to help with cooking certain things the right way but it was kind of like a abstract a experience learning for the first time etc I enjoyed it but it was rather expensive didn't enjoy that part it's price could be worked on . BBQ gets a big 5/5 from me I enjoyed it so much I ate it til I was stuffed but only in fear of upcharge the soup not so much but was good for cooking the shrimp I had id def try it all again when I get more money and try to make something delicious in the soup next time the service was decently on point kept my drink full bc I was dying bc of the spice. I give 3/5 on the hot pot for lack of help choosing the best broth and 5/5 for the atmosphere it was really nice in there very enjoyable and spacious and the choice of different meat and veggies was nice and new
