I used to go to Saki all the time with my family and it’s been a while since I’ve gone.. now I know why!! I ordered the steak and scallop hibachi (steak medium rare keep in mind I live not even 2 minutes from the place) well I go to pick up my order it’s not ready so I wait 20 min on it after it had already been over 30min since I placed the order so about an hour from the time I placed the order to the time I got my food..... I get home my steak is well done and THEN I bite into a scallop and there’s nothing but a loud crunch noise and im trying to figure out if I broke a tooth or not at that point because my teeth hurt so bad.... I check all the other scallops out they are full of either rocks or shell as well and these were big pieces of either rock or shell..... I then throw everything away and call saki ask for a manager and the lady that answered the phone said she was the manager.. I proceeded to tell her that I was very disappointed and told her about everything and she says “bring it back I can have them make it again” we’ll first of all it’s in the trash which I explained and second of all I really don’t want you to make it again and have the same issue and third of all I really just wanted to let them know so that no one else has the same issue and she proceeds to argue with me about the steak and then just says “well I’m sorry you didn’t like it” sorry Saki but you will NEVER get my business again...... that was over $20 that went in...

If I could give negative stars I would. I came here in high hopes from all these 5 star reviews.. We get seated and the hibachi chef starts doing his thing he brings out this cooked rice that’s literally Old and hard and served everyone. I just ignored it, then he starts cooking the food everyone that’s seated and he’s also making 3 to go plates on the side??? The cook is mixing his spatulas with the raw meats with the cooked for and serving not even wiping or cleaning putting risk for cross contamination. The he served the rice drops some on the table not the grill plate, scrapes the rice that fell and adds it to the to go plate he was making 🤢and didn’t wipe the spatula as it toched the dirty table and he starts whipping it up touching all the food. The worst part is that he had these squirt bottle that had oil, teriyaki sauce and some other oil. He added those oils before during after during. He added all those condiments about 5 times. The food was just exaggerated oily and wet. I was in disbelief and disgusted. Never in my life have I experienced this. Top 3 worst food...

Food was ok, but experience was more than lacking. Very disappointing when you choose a restaurant and a habachi grill table in part for the experience. Just a cook in front of us at the hibachi grill. Our chef showed No real interest, no talking, no questions whether we were celebrating anything,(which we were celebrating my husbands bday), no interaction with the grandkids. No fun, no tricks, no jokes, no onion train, or pounding heart of rice, or tossing of a shrimp or two. Nothing, no thank you for coming. Just does anyone need to go boxes. We gave him a 20% tip anyway, then afterward was thinking why did I do that?, he really didn’t do anything to offer any exceptional customer service or anything special at all, as a matter a fact it was a let down for all of us, even the girls who were old enough to know what a fun hibachi grill experience is supposed to be. The service and experience was a 2-3 on the scale of 1-10, and the food was average at a 6-7. Sorry to say Nothing to...

We went to Sakis in Ocean Springs tonight and had a disappointing experience. My family and I each prefer certain vegetables in our hibachi, so we asked for modifications. I only wanted onions, my daughter wanted only broccoli, and my husband asked for mushrooms, broccoli, and onions. When we received the bill, we were shocked to see they charged us extra – $1 each – for removing vegetables we didn’t want! I’ve never encountered a restaurant that penalizes customers for not wanting certain items on their plates. You’d think removing ingredients would reduce the cost, not increase it! This felt incredibly greedy and unnecessary. We won’t be returning to Sakis.

I've always enjoyed coming here, great service, nice atmosphere, and great food. You can't go wrong with Edamame with spicy garlic, Hamachi Kama whenever they have it, if not, you can eat the Hamachi Carpaccio. I got to try something new this time, the Yakitori chicken which was pretty good. For sushi, there's too many good choices but my favorite is the Miami Heat roll. Great presentation on the sushi rolls and the Hibachi is good choice if you want a show.

The crab puffs appitizer was overcooked and had almost no puff at all. Could not taste anything but dry wonton when you took a bite. The spicy beef fried rice was a very big portion and lots of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken and vegetable tempura were deep-fried to perfection and not over battered so you could taste more than batter. The soups were hot and tasty and the salads had lots of dressing on them.
