Let's get straight to the point...
Our first visit, definitely not our last
Amazing menu selection Like fried mushrooms? A MUST!! However.... I'll definitely order 2 next time so I don't have to share. The ranch dipping is good however if you really want an amazing combo then I recommend my favorite š definitely get a side of sour cream to dip them in.
I decided to try the Alfredo (no meat for me) and a side of green beans. Both were amazing and the perfect portion size.
Hubby ordered the blackened red fish with an added side of crawfish cream sauce, side of potatoes and green beans and cleaned his plate.
Everything came out fresh, hot and absolutely delicious.
Cons for us.... this isn't major and is Mainly a personal preference which is why I won't allow this to affect the rating. We are usually more for quiet nights and more intimate settings. Yes, this is a bar therefore i did nkt expect it to be an intimate setting. Upon entering we were not sure if we were to wait to be seated or seat ourselves and the music was loud, like loud loud. However, once we sat and the server came she informed us that usually it wasn't as loud. They had a large private group and they were simply having an amazing time. I would never fault a business for providing quality food and great service that welcomed groups to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Once the server closed the double doors it definitely helped and we were able to enjoy our dinner date. Next time we will just make sure we go a bit earlier. Problem solved.
Definitely give it a go! I'm...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade reservations for Valentineās Day dinner and was sorely disappointed. Waited over 20 mins for drinks, another 20 for appetizers, and over an hour for our dinner (which we never received and left before we could even try it). The appetizers and drinks we did get were underwhelming. Crab dip was $15 and served in a bowl the size of a dipping sauce container. Special martini was warm and almost all cranberry. We finally caught our servers attention so we could get our check and leave, and that took another 20 mins. Everyone was running around like crazy and we tried to flag down a few different people to make this complaint to, but we were never able to touch base with anyone to let them know how awful it was. With limited menu and reservations in place I donāt understand how you can be so behind and non attentive. There were maybe 12 tables waiting the whole time we were there, who were also voicing how long they had been waiting with no service or food. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Cypress Taphouse is absolutely a hidden gem! With 26 Craft Beers on tap, 7 of which are brewed in-house, and a fantastic bourbon selection, it is definitely a place to check out. They even barrel age cocktails (which if you have the opportunity to try, you absolutely should). This isn't some smoke filled dive. The environment is welcoming, clean, and relaxing. They have a huge game room with air hockey, billiards, foosball, ping pong, cornhole, and darts. There is also a bookshelf full of board and card games (who can turn down some friendly Cards Against Humanity). They also hold different special events, like Beer Bingo on Thursday nights, and Live Music on Friday and Saturday nights. Even heard about an adult Easter egg hunt and an adult prom. The service is amazing, the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. The food excels at pleasing. I would say definitely stop. Definitely hang out for a while. Definitely tell all of...
