My mom and I stopped by here a few weeks ago after a doctor's appointment, we wanted to try something other than the normal fast food drive trough. The price was good my only thing was although the service was great I'd rather have a chance to see the service before I paid the tip, there was an option for no tip but I wasn't carrying cash and I'm not a dick so I rolled the dice thankfully the staff were awesome they welcomed as soon as the door opened and the attendant was perfect, refills were right on time I just wish I wasn't so bad with names so I guess I'll shout out everybody. I really enjoyed the old fashioned diner aesthetic. The menu on the wall has a decent selection of burgers and sandwiches. I ordered the Cajun burger with Cajun tots, it was flavored well but I live on the Louisiana state line so it wasn't the Cajun I'm used to, but that doesn't mean it wasn't amazing. Mom ordered the cheese steak, and cheese fries she couldn't finish hers in the restaurant so I finished it at home and it was delicious as well. On our way out we got some shakes Mom got strawberry and I tried the cinnamon toast crunch. While mine tasted delicious the bits of cereal clogged up the straw so it was hard to drink, next time I'm going with the OG vanilla. I can't wait to come back up there again and check out more of the menu. This is my new place to eat when I have a doctor's...
Read moreI'd never heard of this place until a coworker was scrolling on her phone one day to find us something different for lunch. Now to start off, I'll admit I havent branched out very far so i cant speak on their milkshakes or hot dogs etc. But i have tried their fries, tots, fried pickles and burgers. The double bacon burger saves the day and its the reason I gave it four stars. Those three sides werent very good to me; both the tots and pickles just tasted bland, like something fried with not much taste otherwise. The fries were okay but they arent the best complement for the burgers. (I think a crinkle fry instead would've made it beautiful.) But that burger? Mouthwatering. I mean real true beef and seasoned so well and cooked perfectly. Im lactose intolerant so I tried to go plain before and it tasted okay like 8 out of 10 but if you want to just pass out from how good it tastes, you have to bite the bullet like I did and keep the cheese. If it was for just the sides, I probably wouldnt go back but honestly I'll return 100 times for their burgers! (And yes, Im planning to try the shakes one day because they sound delicious in the descriptions). You're missing out if you haven't...
Read moreThis place really needs to get it together and figure out how to hire people. The food is decent, could be great. But usually the little teenagers working there give it the bad rating. They were out of things like mustard and Coke. Sounds more like they were too lazy to get more. This is my fourth time going in here, trying to give it a chance. One of the cooks I saw were rubbing his gloved hands all over his hat and head before preparing food. When most of the staff wasn't flirting with each, kicking and giggling with each other. One or two of them weren't working consistently. The girl that took our order actually asked the guy cooking if the veggie burger was a turkey burger. The burgers have very high potential to be great. But they really need to get their staffing under control and realize that staffing can hurt your business. This is the first review I've written in the four times I've been there because I've given it a chance several times. Each time having...
