Cabo Dogs — Restaurant in Missouri City

Walking into Cabo Dogs Friday night, I enjoyed the low-light setting and the patio setup. Just one wrong thing, the service experience for me was horrible. I went to the bar and waited 5 mins only for the bartender to look at me and quickly turn away from me to pretend to look busy, that was strike 1. I went out to the patio to take a smoke break, giving the staff the benefit of a doubt that maybe they were just tied up. Went back to the bar and talked to a server. I ordered a bourbon and coke which is one of the easiest mixed drinks you can order at a bar. 5 mins passed by and I saw (4) women who were employees by the bar area not making drinks just conversing with one another. I went to the same server and asked for a update about my drink. She told me that there was only (1) licensed bartender, even though there was (3) other employees behind the bar, confusing to me. The server told the same bartender with the tattoos on both arms who ignored me the first time to make the drink. The bartender with the tattoos looked at me and rolled her eyes. That was strike 2, which I decided I’m leaving no tip. Strike 3 is the cherry on top. The drink was finally delivered to me but in a styrofoam cup. The cup looked as if it was reused with bite marks on it...not cool...the night staff needs better management and at least (2) months of micro management. The excuse of (1) bartender with a small crowd of customers is no excuse to make. I do believe in second chances and I heard the morning staff is professional, so a few bad employees should not impact the overall business. I love to Missouri city business prosper and I know y’all...

Nice little neighborhood bar. We went in and they did require masks until you sat down. Social distances was not really a requirement. We order food; wings and fries. The friend chicken and french fries was extremely good for bar food. We ordered cocktails. The service from the female long haired blonde bartender was horrible. She had an attitude. She wasn't friendly and messed up our cocktails by giving us the incorrect drinks. Thereafter we requested to be served by the dark hair gentleman. His service was amazing. Came and re made our drinks, went and got our food, and checked on us every so often. They offer karaoke here as well which was really fun! The restroom did not have ANY tissue and when I told the staff they were really slow to refill the stalls.

Overall I would go here again. It's a cute "neighborhood bar" but I'll definitely be checking to see if the restroom has tissue BEFORE I go...

Arrived at 8:15 Friday night and was not allowed in because a comedy show was going on. Finally let in around 8:30 and the show was still happening. We were greeted by the server who gave us a menu for food and said they were only on their "late night menu." The menu noted its start time was 9pm. She brought our drink order, which were two of the flattest Diet Cokes we've ever had. She never came back. We were there to see Charlie, who was supposed to start singing at 9. The comedy show dragged on until after 9:30. We were there with friends and were talking. The MC basically told us to not talk and listen to the comedians. He did this about 4 times, scolding us like we were kids. Never We will NOT be back! I kept waiting on John Taffer to walk through the door because this place is basically a Bar Rescue show...
