We attempted to order dinner here last Sunday. After about five minutes of standing at the counter, without any service, we gave up (we were the only ones in the restaurant at 7:00 PM by the way, and they do not close until 8:00 PM, I checked). I though it a bit odd after being "onced-over" by three of the staff members, who made eye-contact then hurriedly wandered off. I suppose they had something better to do than take an order. No "one moment please", or "I'll be with you in a second", or anything, never an indication that they intended to help. In fact, not a word was ever exchanged between either party (I was surely not going to beg for their service). Needles to say, we left and went to another BBQ joint down the road (which by the way was PACKED). I suppose Brookstreet's business is so good that they can turn customers away. Could of fooled me considering the place was empty. We...
Read moreI have been a long time patron of Brookstreet in Missouri City. I have not only picked up food for lunch and dinner, but used them for catering at home and my church. I have usually been very pleased with food and service. Well yesterday I picked up a baked potato with meat through drive-thru. When I got home, I was disappointed to find baked potato was dry and did not appear fresh, but the meat was fine. I ate most of meat and picked around potato, because I was hungry. To be fair , I decided to report this incident to Brookstreet. They responded I needed to bring potatoe and receipt for refund. No apology for my time, inconvenience or bad experience. Businesses often wonder why they lose customers, well I just want to take the time to let Brookstreet know why I will not be supporting their business...

Ordered a BBQ sandwich- they give you a big bun and only about enough meat to fill up a 5 year old. I asked them to fix it and they claimed they actually gave me more than a quarter pound and would not give me any more. I've been eating BBQ sandwiches my whole life. I know what a quarter pound looks like. I've actually eaten at Brookstreet locations since 1994- they have not always operated this way. The food used to be better and was actually a good value- NOT anymore. I wonder what happened. Something changed a few years ago. The restaurants never seem to be as busy these days but somehow they have stayed...
