This church has been a real blessing to our family, and I wanted to take a moment to share our experience. While no place is perfect, this church truly has a heart for people, and we’ve seen that firsthand over the past few months.
One of the highlights for us this summer was enrolling our kids in their Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. To say our kids loved it would be an understatement—they absolutely thrived! From the moment we dropped them off, we felt they were in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. The volunteers were attentive, cheerful, and clearly passionate about creating a fun and faith-filled week for the kids. Each day was packed with music, games, crafts, and Bible stories that our children couldn't wait to tell us about when they came home. Even weeks after VBS ended, they’re still singing the songs and talking about the fun activities they did with their friends.
What really stood out to me was how intentional the church is about involving families and making sure everyone feels included. During the closing VBS program, parents were invited to come and watch a short presentation. It was heartwarming to see all the kids come together and share what they learned. It’s clear the staff and volunteers put a lot of work into making it a memorable experience.
Another aspect of Fort Bend Community Church that deserves recognition is their commitment to serving the community, especially through their food bank outreach. In today’s world, many families are struggling, and it's incredibly meaningful to see a church actively addressing those needs. They offer food bank support to anyone who needs it, and it's done with dignity and kindness. I’ve personally witnessed how they distribute food without judgment, and how they strive to ensure that everyone who comes through their doors leaves with not just groceries but a sense of hope.
The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is only because I think there are areas where communication and organization could be improved slightly. For example, we had some initial confusion with VBS registration and didn’t receive confirmation emails right away, which made us a little nervous. Also, it would be helpful if the church website were updated more frequently with event information and service times. That said, once we were connected and in the loop, everything went smoothly.
Overall, Fort Bend Community Church is a vibrant, family-friendly community of faith that’s genuinely trying to make a difference. Whether you’re looking for a place to grow spiritually, find community, or just get your kids involved in something uplifting and fun, this church is worth checking out. Our family is grateful for the experiences we've had here, and we look forward to getting more involved in...

May the Holy Spirit guide those seeking for God to come to church. I pray that there will be many to come to church so that we can serve under Jesus Christ. The good news is here, God Almighty will come on the last day to judge you. Take up your cross and take FBCC as your church. Isaiah 53:7-8 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” Accept His suffering so that you may be in the family of God. Praise God, and may the Holy Spirit...
