only giving 2 stars because of the nice lady that works there. And I appreciate the free dessert when I went back called in a order for chicken tenders cause thats all i saw on the menu online, but i guess its called a tender basket. so when i called in i said can i get chicken tenders and he said ok. i came to pick up the food, waitress was very nice. i got home and opened the order and it was kid sized. the chicken was super hard and overcooked, and for $12 it didnt seem like a big enough portion. I called on the phone and told them what happened and all the guy said was "I'll spread the word around ". Spreading the word around doesn't get me dinner or my money back so I asked to speak with a manager and when he got on the phone, I heard the kid that I was speaking to say "he didn't like his food "and I told the manager it's not that I didn't like it. It was literally inedibly hard like the chicken tenders were over fried and all he wanted to talk about is the fact that I ordered a kids meal because I mentioned the portion size and I said that I didn't order a kids meal or at least on the phone. The guy said nothing about it being a kids meal.
The guy said I could come back and get another order. I don't live far away, but I get anxiety complaining about things like this and didn't really wanna go back out of my house tonight cause I've been driving around a lot today. It's been a long day, so I asked him if I could get a credit and get the food another time and he said he has too big of a weight staff for that and that he could not do it even though he got my name and number. The restaurant holds barely 60 people. I have never heard of a restaurant not being able to take a name down for a credit. my family is in the restaurant business and we would never do that. It's completely weird and unprofessional, I explained I lived 10 minutes away, and I said what if I lived far away. Then he got an attitude and winded me and said you just told me you lived 10 minutes away. That's not the point. Then he said he would deliver it and asked me for a receipt number. It was only 1163 so I didn't take the receipt with me. Then he goes "no we can't do that "I said that's ridiculous. I'm just coming in. How are you gonna offer to deliver it to me and then not do it you could literally check your phone history and see that I'm the one that called it in and picked up the food or ask the woman that checked me out to verify. She was the best part of all. I don't know if she was the owner or what, but she was very nice and had a nice conversation with me while I waited for them to remake the food. I still don't know what happened if they gave me a kids meal on accident but most kids meals for chicken tenders aren't $12 and either way it's hard so a kid wouldn't like it either. I would probably not go back. I tell the guy on the phone but he was standing there so I didn't. His attitude in person sure was different than the attitude on the phone. Just really unprofessional and it wasn't even a big deal to begin with. I just didn't wanna leave the house again tonight , if he didn't have an attitude, I never would've had one either
The third picture is after they remade it, the chicken is definitely soft now, but the guy told me the chicken strips are "huge "is huge in the room with us lol? These are a couple bites each. Would never get...
Read moreGet ready for an amazing birthday experience! My son suggested this spot after he visited with a friend, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the host who let us pick our own setting. The service was top-notch, and our waitress, Alexa, and a young gentleman, a name we didn't get, was incredible. She brought us our menus with an additional special and took our drinks order, and when I tell you their Arnold Palmer was the best I've ever had, you better believe it was fresh! They both stayed on top in making sure we received refills without even asking.
What really stood out to me was the polite and courteous way the waitress took our order. She started off by asking me, "Ma'am, what would you like?" Then my daughter, "Young lady, what would you like?" Then my husband, "Sir, what would you like?" And last but not least, my son, "Young gentlemen, what would you like?" It was such a lovely touch that added to the overall experience.
While we waited for our food, we had a blast playing cards and UNO with the games available on the table. And when our food arrived, it was a sight to behold! We ordered 6 honey-spicy Buffalo wings, a blackened boudin link, a double bacon cheeseburger, and a Texas brisket short rib wagyu beef burger, and let me tell you, it was all bussen! We had to take a doggy bag home, and we even got some of their special honey-spicy Buffalo sauce to go.
The atmosphere is relaxed and has a fantastic family vibe. It's the perfect spot for a Friday night out with friends or family. You won't be disappointed with the A1 customer service and overall experience at this amazing spot!
THANK YOU ALEXA AND YOUNG GENTLEMEN, WHO NAME WE DIDN'T GET FOR THE BEST CUSTER SERVICE ! ! !
On the occasion of the Birthday, the celebrant asked for a churro with ice cream. However, my kids aren't fond of cake! Happy Birthday, SUN! We love you to the...
Read moreI've had this place bookmarked for awhile now. It is located in a shopping strip near the Missouri City/Sugarland border. Plenty of parking. I met up with some friends who live close by. We enjoyed a few drinks outside before heading inside when our whole party arrived. Customer service was amazing from start to finish. Shannon took great care of us and gave great suggestions as well since I'm always indecisive.
They have a pretty nice amount of beers on draft which are also neatly categorized. I knew I was in for a heavy meal so I went with a cold sour beer to cut through the richness of the food. My friends got a variety of mixed drinks and they loved them. We had the bar set low thinking beer is their thing, but they proved us wrong. I came in thinking I wanted a German meal, but scanned the room and saw a lot of people eating a burger or sandwich of some sort. My focus turned to that side of the menu and Shannon suggested the Big Shawn Sausage Burger. It was a cheeseburger cooked to order with a link of sausage on it. I went with the jalapeño cheddarwurst. This burger was fantastic! One of the better ones I've had in awhile. The burger was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I thought the addition of sausage was odd at first, but after that first bite, I was hooked. It added another depth of flavor. I got sidewinder fries to go with it. These fries were also crazy good. They have about 5 fry options so I had a feeling they take pride in their fries.
Overall, I'm mad I didn't come here sooner because this place is so good. I will definitely be back sooner...
